Henry/Havoc, Host of Pain, The Force of Destruction and antagonist of the Panic Stories | he/him

Henry was a sickly child, wracked with persistent pain that often immobilized him. Doctors told his parents it was an incurable medical condition, but they couldn’t have known it was caused by an eldritch being of pure pain inhabiting young Henry’s very soul. The boy was the latest incarnation of the destructive facet of god, and Pain’s one job was to keep him from ever tapping into his latent powers. It was a strategy that had worked for all of human history. 

That was until tragedy struck not Henry but his beloved older brother, who was killed in action in WWII. When his family got the news, Henry felt a crushing pain greater than anything he had ever felt before. His feeling of despair was so great that he finally became aware of the Avatar of Pain in his psyche. His despair quickly turned to anger. Henry grabbed Pain by the throat, and dominated him with a single-mindedness brought on by grief. 

From them on, Henry made a miraculous recovery. He was healthy, hale… and fully aware of his great and terrible power – a power he would use to destroy the world, claiming the top spot among the three aspects of god. There was just one person who stood in his way…

At the start of the Panic Stories, Henry runs a legitimate business by day, and a shady operation in the criminal underworld at night. He tracks down the location of his opponent in world domination, the Force of Creation, and plans to have assassins ambush him while he takes a train. Though he had no way of knowing that “Panic” was not his adversary’s given name, and that he’d have to get his own hands dirty in the operation. 

Like most of the Panic Stories characters, Henry is a human and only appears as a white wolf in my art.
