PERSONALITY
Onyx is highly competitive and protective of those around her. Typically responding to things in life with a type of joke or lack of seriousness has made her quite popular. She is banned from Ranked for her crass behavior on the field.
BACKSTORY
Onyx was born into a cold home with her mother who often just neglected to care for her. She bonded with a fellow student at her school named Vermina to cope, and didn’t have anyone else to lean on. So one day after her friend Vermina disappeared from school, she took it upon herself to look for her. Onyx had no luck finding her, and was found on the verge of starvation by the Lopao family after a few months, who took her in.
After growing up with Zarai in the Lopao home, she started participating in turf wars and lobbies. She was good, and fairly proud of it. Then one day she decided to one up something she saw- clothes some models were modeling were ugly, and she knew she could do better, so she did better.. Using some money from her family, she started a clothing line and people loved it.
RELATIONSHIPS
- Met him after he moved to Splatsville. Is her boyfriend currently and is also her first relationship.
- They grew up together in the Lopao home. Believes they are sisters by adoption. They used to get in a lot of fights together because of Zarai generally being insensitive with people’s feelings.
- Sells Onyx illegal weapon modifications and often uses Onyx’s weapon decals in her deals. Met through Zarai.
- Vermina was once close friends with Onyx in elementary school and suddenly disappeared. Onyx had run from her home in hopes to meet her again.
- Met at a fashion expo. Noticed Micah’s unique behavior and wanted to look into him. Zarai found out he was an artist and Onyx decided to try and partner with him for exposure.
- Onyx met him through Cyrus, and makes him clothing so he stops stealing her boyfriend’s clothing. She made a custom anklet for him that he still wears.
- Onyx met Mya through a PR failure from Zarai. Mya comes to Onyx for clothing to wear at her concerts.
- Onyx met Elenora through the same means as Mya, and designs clothes for her too. Elenora and Mya are a duo.
Before she even met him, she saw several posters of him around town and had become a little transfixed on the guy. During her business opening, she wanted to get a male model to show off her clothing, and to her surprise, Zarai presented her with some information of where he was going to be, a lobby nearby. As a not-shady-at-all person would do, she ‘accidentally’ found herself in the lobby that Cyrus was in. Forgetting her goal, she actually ends up playing with the group.
A month or so later, she actually approaches him with her proposition. He agrees. Later on, Cyrus approached her about becoming an official couple, and then she realized her fascination with him was actually her feelings for him and said yes after thinking on it for a day.
In the bedroom, Onyx is quite the opposite of her usual confident self in other situations. She's cool and confident around people, but when it's just her, she tends to get a bit shy. Every now and then, she'll take charge, but most of the time, she lets Cyrus lead the way.
Onyx prefers keeping things private because, to her, her partner belongs to her and nobody else. She prefers that she is the only one to see him so intimately. Despite her shyness, she's perfectly comfortable in her own skin.
