About

Though her family was never rich they still spoiled her as best they could, an only child who was given whatever she wanted, no matter how bratty she was. From a young age she loved being the center of attention and always had an interest in acting, getting very involved in theater and acting classes while in school. Her love of attention also often led her to sneak out at night to party, neglecting the rest of her schoolwork. Pretty much the only thing that ever made her bother going to school was her best friend, a girl she lived on the same street as and had grown up with. Of course, when the girl's uptight parents found out what a "bad influence" Jolene was on their daughter they forbid her from seeing her anymore. By this time Jolene had landed a small part in a movie and she and her family packed up and headed for California, barely giving her a chance to say goodbye. She quickly took to the Hollywood lifestyle, excited to put herself out there and do anything to make it in "show business." The late nights and wild parties never stopped and she loved every minute of it, though after several years and getting into her 30s, it started taking it's toll on her, whether she wanted to admit it or not. (Not to mention there were always nasty rumors going around about her and some of the things she may or may not have done to further her career.) Deciding to take a break from it all for awhile, she headed back to her hometown in hopes of catching up with some old friends.

Personality

As already mentioned, she's a real "party girl", and is all about having fun, meeting new people, drinking, and living it up. She rarely takes anything in life too seriously and isn't easily angered or offended. She has a hard time watching her language, even in situations where it's very inappropriate, and more sensitive types consider her to be crass and vulgar. Her demeanor, posture, mannerisms, etc. on the whole is what some would consider to be "unladylike" or "masculine", things like chugging her drinks instead of sipping them, telling crude jokes, burping, spitting, etc. XD (Naturally, she doesn't care what anyone thinks about any of this.) She tends to be very open and honest about how she feels about others, sometimes to the point of being too blunt or rude, though she usually doesn't intend to hurt people's feelings. (Unless they deserve it, then she's more than happy to crush them emotionally. :3) She has a lot of money and loves to throw it around and spend in on her friends, buying them gifts and showing them a good time.

I imagine her voice sounding kind of like this, I guess. XD It's hard to describe voices tbh..

Appearance

Hair: Black, a couple inches past shoulder-length, usually done up in common 40's styles, or tied back in a bun

Eyes: Light brownish/almost hazel-colored eyes, a bit catlike in shape

Build: Athletic/toned build, average weight, her thighs & hips are a little on the thick side

Scars/Body Modifications/Other distinguishing features: One earring in each lobe. A tattoo of the zodiac symbol for Aquarius ♒ on her right shoulder, and a black outline of a heart on each side of her lower abdomen. The birthmark near her right eye is "real", but the one above her lip is drawn on with makeup︎

Clothing: Her taste in clothing is difficult to describe because she loves fashion and a little bit of everything, both women's and men's clothing, she most commonly wears dresses though. Black, white, red, and blue are her favorite colors.

Trivia

• I am once again "re-using" an old character because I can. XD Also, I realize her name is a bit too "modern", but it was hard enough thinking up a last name for her, I'm not giving her a new first name too lol
• She smokes very heavily, usually with a cigarette holder. (This is copied from Miranda's profile because the same is true for both of them, especially since she gave her her first cigarette XD)
• People sometimes call her Jo for short.
• She left for Hollywood in her last year of high school and never graduated.
