Personality: She's very shy, preferring to keep to herself and away from others. People tried to take advantage of her future position a lot, so she has a lot of trust issues. The only one she remotely trusts is Derek, since she knows he's generally not capable of planning to actually overthrow somebody.
Likes: Butterflies/Moths ("They're so soft and delicate..."), painting, chill trap music.
Dislikes: Loud noises, people approaching her for deals, crowds of people WAY more capable than her. 

Skills, abilities and weaponry:
Ring; A golden ring that she wears on her left middle finger that makes her immune to sunlight. Particularly bright sunlight will still make her nervous despite the ring.
Superhuman Abilities; Like any vampire, she has super speed and strength.
Fencing; Per her father's request, she's rather good with a rapier.
Combat Magic; She's well-practiced in healing, shields, and burning balls of light. Occasionally she will summon an orb of fire in her hand, or straight-up shoot light like burning lasers from her palms. It's effective against other vampires.

Backstory: Selena was born into her coven. Her father, Alaric Alvar, expected a boy, and was incredibly disappointed. Nevertheless, she was put through rigorous training to be able to handle taking over the coven once he retired. She was approached over and over again by members of her coven trying to subvert her into doing what they wanted, but she stuck firmly to her beliefs. The coven participated in a raid on a shipment of blood, trying to get more than their fair share for the month. Corona stayed at the coven hideaway, and was later told what happened. Her entire coven had been killed by demons, and she was now the only official member of her coven. Soon after this, she met Derek when he dragged her along to help with an elaborate prank. Surprisingly, they became friends, and can usually be found around each other.
