Ladybugkit was born to Frostheart with her two sibling Dandelionkit and Fernkit, already ready to take on the world one moss ball at time. She was determinied and excited to investigate all the new sights and smells that surrounded her everywhere she looked. There were some other kits that were born around the same time, Sootkit and Sturgeonkit! they both seemed nice enough, not that Ladybugkit really had the space inside her tiny head to think anyone wasnt.

also inside the nursery at the time were a group of older kits, one of which was a little tiny kit that was almost the same size as her despite being a few moons older. the two became fast friends, rarely seen apart from one another whether that was sleeping, playing, or curled up listening to Daturaclouds stories and lullabys when he and his brother moved in. she liked them, quite a bit. Sundropsight was loud, and had so many good games to play and songs to sing, while Daturacloud was the most perfect nap time buddy! the odd duo quickly became Ladybugkits favorite adults.

as she grew, the young kit had barely even noticed that Daisykit didnt seem to grow up with her, it only really dawned on her when she realised she was taller! by a lot, too! she didnt mind, deciding that she would just have to get bigger and stronger for the both of them, that way Daisykit would never have to worry about being small.

then one day she heard tell of an attack that happened, she had listened in when Daisykit had been told about it, curious about the rogue cat that had been brought back ot recover- but not worried. in fact, she tought it was very nice and chivalrous of the clan to let the wounded stay while they recovered. Besides, even if the strange cat did end up to be bad, she was sure Sundropsight would keep them all safe and sound.

when Daffodilsplash and Newtgill died, Ladybugkit hadnt really known what to think- but it had made Daisykit sad, and so she was sad, too. she spent that night curled up licking the top of Daisykits head like her mama did whenever she was sad or scared, hoping to comfort the older, smaller kit as best she could... silently vowing that she would never ever ever let Daisykit be this sad ever again.

Sometime later Bellflower joined the clan, and then a group of strange cats that Ladybugkit soon came to understand were form cloudclan- not that either thing interested her in the slightest- some time after that Dandelion kit was taken to the medicine den, and out of hopes to keep Daisykit distracted from being sad again, occupied herself with being buisy with playing with Daisykit as much as possible before the other kit became an apprentice and moved out of the nursery.

not long later, a bunch of kits all became apprentices, including Daisykit, and all moved out from the nursery. It felt very empty when they all left, but Ladybugkit was definetly the one cheering the absolute loudest when Daisypaw was given her mentor. she was very proud- and felt amazed that she had a friend that was going to get so very good at everything very soon! she was so sure of it!

not all that long later, roach and fleakit were made apprentices, too, making the nursery feel even more empty than before, but she didnt really mind that much, because very very soon she would be leavng it, too! and then she could be with Daisykit again, and they could train and talk and go outside the clan together!

one day when Daisypaw had been out training with the others, she had brought back a pretty little flower- and without thinkng, ladybugkit had blurted out that the flower would look nice if Daisypaw wore it.. and so she did! and it looked even prettier than Ladybugkit had thought. It was around this time that Ladybugkit had begun to feel .. not... uncomfortable with being called a girl all the time, but... well, she felt maybe that it wasnt quite right. She'd spoken to Sundropsight about it after a little contemplation, since they had such different pronouns, and eventually requested her friends, siblings and parents to start using "they" as well as "she". it felt much better when the others did, and Ladybugkit settled back into her usual life of playing, chasing Daturacloud and Sundropsights tails around, and hearing all about Daisypaws day before bed.

after a while some more cloudclan cats were found and brought in, and honestly Ladybugkit had entirely forgotten that there had even been cloudclan cats brought into the clan! oh well, if the leader didnt mind then neither did she, and everyone else seemed to not mind them , either! so it was all fine as far as Ladybugkit was concerned.

shortly after, Rubblekit, frecklekit and webkit were all made apprentices and moved out of the nursery, though Ladybug hadnt spent long feeling lonely, as soon enough Dandelionkit was back, and Sundropsight adopted three kits of faer own! she spent a short while marvelling over the new kits, but ultimately left them be, afraid she might acccidentally hurt one of them ! they were all just so tiny, after all.

not long after, sootkit and sturgeonkit became apprentices, while Dandelionkit went back to the herbalist den after getting sick again-- Ladybugkit was worried... would he be okay?? they really hoped so-- Id Dandelionkit died then they knew that Daisypaw would be very sad again, and she had promised herself that tehy would never let that happen again! and so they had kept a close eye on the comings and goings of the herbalist den, waiting for news of Dandelionkit. some time during this, a cat named Antpatch was released... but no Dandelionkit. even Sundropsghts adoption of two more kits hadnt managed to prise her attention away from watching eagerly for the other kit to come out.

Apprenticeship [6-12 moons] >

Time passed way too quickly while waiting, Ladybugpaw decided, when the day of her ceremony came up. she hadnt felt very ready, but Daisypaw was there in the gathering , and that alone had given Ladybugpaw the courage to stand infront of her clan as she was given her mentor, a nice cat named Batstrike. She was detemrined to learn everything that BAtstrike could teach her, all so she could protect the sweet little Daisypaw.
