Taenya Olowynn

A 137-year-old paladin elf. An intelligent, serious and very dedicated woman, who from a young age began to stand out very quickly. She has always been highly competitive and has aimed for the top. She isn't the most sociable, but she knows well how to treat her companions and superiors in the right way and is able to lead them when necessary. Relentless against criminals with her trusty axe, her sense of justice and devotion shine brightly, but she tends to be overly radical. She doesn't mess around and will respond quickly if someone tries to provoke her. She can be quite harsh and lacking in tact at times, however she isn't really a bad person.

Story

Taenya is the first daughter of Othorien and Shainyra Olowynn, a family of talented elven paladins who for generations have protected Iris as part of her Personal Guard. As expected, both she and her younger siblings, Selynnia and Narael, were trained from a young age to carry on the family legacy.

The young girl quickly began to stand out above her siblings, showing a great talent for both studies and combat training. She liked the feeling it brought her that her parents were proud of her, and she knew she was capable of achieving more. Taenya trained and studied hard on a daily basis and would prove to them that she could go all the way to the top.

Years later, the young elf managed to enter the guard, and quickly began to climb through the ranks to become one of the youngest members of Iris' Personal Guard, working side by side with her parents. But while her relationship with her parents was very good, that of her siblings was less so. Selynnia, the second daughter, felt very inferior to her sister and, no matter how hard she tried, could not keep up with her. Tanya's harsh words did not make the younger one feel any better either. On the other hand, the third child, Narael, had always kept a bit apart from Taenya and focused more on his own personal way of life.

After some time working for the guard, Taenya received the terrible news that her father had passed away while rescuing a group of civilians. Although she didn't show it as much as the rest of the family, she was also very hurt and saddened by the loss. Her mother changed greatly after the event, becoming much colder and more demanding of her children. Even Taenya, who had excelled so much from a young age, had difficulty at times keeping her mother happy. With her father deceased and her mother retired after such a loss, Taenya was the only one of the family left on Iris's guard. It was now up to her to carry on the family legacy and continue to serve her lady.
