Profile
Charla and Circus - two primordial beings who wear the heavens on their shoulders. They facilitate the workings of the multiverse by simply existing; pillars of reality itself.
First came Charla, who arrived suddenly and unspectacularly. Circus followed between a few seconds and innumerable eons later.
Circus aims to live the easiest life possible. He says Charla dragged him down into existence against his will, so he might as well enjoy this life he didn't ask for. Mortals offer Circus nothing except for their tasty cuisines.
He struggles to go long in the face of inconvenience without his arsenal of powers. His divinity serves as a crutch; the uncertainty and hardship mortals face is entirely too overwhelming. He is intelligent, but shameless to a fault. Dodging his problems is second nature. His lazy, petty, and generally unpleasant attitude do not help his image.

The Anthology of Nice Smells ; a series of encyclopedias documenting nice smells from across the multiverse. New entries are added every moment of every day. He's smelled up to volume 65.33 x 10^54
-
Napping ; his best friend is a god of dreams, so he regularly gets the best naps imaginable
-
Loneliness ; he definitely loves his time alone but he has never known existence without someone by his side. Charla is a very important constant for him
-
Physical touch ; it gives him full-body chills. It's gross. He especially hates when anything touches his horns
-
Sky complexion with clouds; gets lighter as you go down their body. Palms/shins are lightest
-
Complexion and weather will change depending on their state of mind
-
Tunic design forms the character 生 (meaning life) with shoulder cape
-
Moon motifs; moon earrings, horns form a crescent, moon design on shoes
-
Little hair sprouts; not always present
-
His face turns lighter sooner than Charla's (his mouth/chin area is lighter)
-
Eyes are very dark blue; mole under left eye
-
Uninterested expression; resting bitch face
-
Theoretically, there was only meant to be one all-powerful guardian, so when Circus came by, the two ended up with cosmic responsibility split between them
-
They cry little multi-colored neon stars. They feel like sleep sand; bigger ones sting...
-
They can shapeshift into anything
-
Charla and Circus can achieve omnipotence by holding hands, but Circus hates physical touch and they're left with awful headaches after, so they avoid doing it
-
Circus can summon wormholes via the space between his horns, the portals are watery and starry; can be any size
-
Their 生 tunic is inspired by Zeno, the omni-king, from Dragon Ball Super. He has 王 (king) on his shirt!!
-
Originally named Curcus, almost named Crocus. Made on 8/26/21
-
"Shadyl" just comes from "shady" ; implies deceit
-
His favorite smell from The Anthology of Nice Smells is petrichor
-
Occasionally snorts when he laughs! It is his life's greatest embarrassment
The bane of Circus' existence. He still grapples with how the first thing he ever laid eyes on was Charla's ugly grin. Like wow what a way to set the tone for life itself...
He depends on her as his rock, but he'll never say it aloud. Though he throws fits about joining Charla on their (supposedly dumb) adventures, Circus would be even more offended if he wasn't invited. Thankfully, she never fails to get him on board.
Charla instigates a lot of bicker, not knowing the routine of her huff and puff is all Circus needs to really be happy. He doesn't know an existence without Charla; he can't imagine one, nor does he even want to.
