Leonna is inspired by Fionna (adventure time), Karkat, and Sally from Nightmare before Christmas costumes I've worn in the past.
The inspiration of Fionna goes into her being a swordswoman style character and the fact that she's literally a genderswapped version of her accompanying character, Leon, who is like a father/mentor character to her. The Karkat inspiration ties her back to the Cancer god in the setting and makes her powered, capable of doing a certain spell as much as she wants, innately, her power being a tie in to Sally, where she can fall apart and keep living. Her arm can be chopped off and just put back on, or even have another person's body part replace it if need be. She's not actually Leon's twin, as most people assume, but rather she's a human who is transformed via his power to make her look like him, both for gender transition reasons and because it elongates her lifespan.
