Ori (Something SMP)

Ori is a sadist, apathetic to the struggles of others until they cross his path. He's disconnected from any sort of human emotion, other than volatile bursts of fury leaving anything in his path destroyed. He's quick to anger, and while he can be reasoned with on occasion, those fits of fury will cloud any judgement he has. He's loud and brutal, and leaves no room for any sort of disrespect. He knows his own power and flaunts it any time he can. While he can be deceptive he's often blunt as he doesn't respect anyone enough to lie to them.

At the very dawn of the creation, gods weren’t the kindest of creatures. They were ruthless beings that tore apart entire dimensions and imbued life at will. One particularly benevolent deity made the choice to create the void - an endless expanse of godly material, meant to be the dwelling place of his kin and all those who asked. It was to be a good place, a place safe from the scrutiny of his brethren.

Once he’d finished his magnum opus he realized there was material left over. He thought it would be good to put it to use as a protector, a guard of his children and allies and so he imbued it with life. At first it was kind and benevolent and all too passive for what he had in mind. He needed this new child of his strong enough to take down any intruder without a second thought.

The thing, still nameless was imbued with rage strong enough to rival its creator and strength to match. At first this worked wonderfully well eviscerating every single intruder that entered its creator's domain, but after a few months its bloodlust grew to proportions too massive to be contained.

Its creator could only hold it at bay for so long, before he too fell to the void-thing's wrath. With nothing to keep it in its creator's domain it left, infecting the rest of the end with its vile presence. The denizens of the void that held power came together, deciding the best course of action was to keep it away from the portal and main island for the good of the rest of the end.

The void-creature, who'd dubbed himself Ori settled on a string of islands with an unlucky civilization of endermen. He'd kept himself busy for millennia tormenting the population until he finally grew bored and set his sights onto other, more ambitious projects. For a while Ori had been enchanted by the main island, but unfortunately for him it was protected by an entity only slightly stronger than himself.

At first he'd attempted to gain the ender dragon's through any means necessary, but the overgrown lizard guardian remained stubborn. He retreated to lap at his bruised pride, stewing in his own hate.

After years Ori foolishly assumed his powers had grown, enough to defeat the dragon. He reattempted the only strategy he'd ever learned, and staged an attack on the island. While he'd killed thousands, and injured millions more he was ultimately unsuccessful.

As punishment for his treason he was exiled, thrown through the end portal he'd coveted so and floated through nothingness for millennia, trapped in a miserable state of limbo.

Finally, after an unknown period of time he was pulled to the end of his exile by a strange sense of fear he could trace to a previously unseen exit to his hell. He ended up spat out onto a strange island, anger only growing the longer he was away from his dimension.
