River

River... What a name, right? The amount of times I got told "Wow, your eyes are more like an ocean" made me fuckin' sick.
I had so many things handed to me: revolving door of partners, forced, overly enthusiastic friendships; some people'd say those were 'fans'. Money-- my goddamn modelling career... And I really didn't want any of it.

Then one day all those nice things got me killed. Whacked over the head and dumped into the ocean by some crazed fan who thought I owed him something. I hadn't even died yet, in the water. It was so cold that I went out staring at that dumbass.
He said I deserved it. I didn't even know his name... Go figure.

As you can imagine, River is a cold-hearted, distant young man. Despite his looks and his careless demeanor, he has always felt like his life was on 'autopilot' and has never attempted to push for anything.
Everyone, for whatever personal reasons people have, was far too enamored with him to do anything but cater to him, thus leaving River disenchanted with just about anything that may have held his interest for a few days.

He will say whatever's on his mind without fear or nerves holding him back, though more often than not he doesn't feel strongly about anything enough to put his foot down.
He does things that he thinks may interest him, and now that he's dead, he especially seeks out the stranger things in life, wanting to find some sort of entertainment value in it.
You could assign a mental disposition onto him and he'd allow it, even if that assumption would be far wrong.
