Akemi lost their parents at a young age, they were a toddler and only have vauge pictures of what they used to look like, well, not too vauge, since their Auntie has *real* actual pictures, but Akemi is usually busy with other things. They are very weary of the fae, and the influence they have. In order to protect themself they always carry pairs, because two is their lucky number, everything must come in pairs! Two cards in their hat, two bows on their clothes, two pins on their bag, two straps on their shoes. Having two makes them feel better, safer, its important. They've become more relaxed than they used to be, but are still very VERY paranoid about everything.
They're often considered the 'weird' kid in school, mostly because of their strange habits, and partly because lots of people consider their Aunts buisness cursed.
