SUMMARY:
Scotch is very closed off and is rarely seen in public. Not much is known about them, other than that they are insanely powerful, and that the story of their take-over rocked the server. With the previous Leaderboard dispatched, many have hated the intense changes Butterscotch has made, and though many wish to overthrow him, none have yet to prove their strength. Despite his grumpy looking disposition he's really not mean, though he does ignore the rest of the world, having already made it to the top and done everything they set out to do.

Scotch is still processing a lot of their feelings towards Varian. Its complicated, she worked with him for so long, they were friends and party members for decades. He followed her every word.... even if maybe he shouldn't have. He finally made a choice to go against her, and he's still wondering if it was the right choice.

Butterscotch was a quite the socialite as a young child, quick to make and keep friends, though they tended to be more surface-level than close pals. He was really quite lonely and had trouble keeping the friends he'd make- until he met a strange odd girl. She demanded his attention and he was happy to feel so wanted. She actively sought him out, and that was meaningful to him! They quickly joined and became party members and the rest... fell into place.
Scotch admired Varian's smarts and intelligence, she always had a plan and always knew the best way to execute it. She would get very snippy if things didn't work out, but Butterscotch was great at following these orders, he could do as was asked, and so the two got along. She took up most all of his time, and at first he didn't mind, it got him adoration and impressed looks from those he knew.
Though, as his levels quickly began to tower over others, and every moment of his time used up to train... he grew farther and farther away from everyone except Varian. She wasn't much of a fan of him wasting time, and he... trusted her strategy, it was always right, it always worked.
He began to question her more and more as the same lonely feeling crept in even with her around... She wasn't a fan of this, he kept it to himself from then on.
As Varian's close partner, Scotch overheard many of her plans, and all of her schemes. She used him as a rubber duck to talk to, and he didn't mind, though... some of the things she said began to concern him. They were brilliant, but terrifying, and the worst thing- he believed she could absolutely pull it all off.
When the time came to fight the current level 100 player, and for Varian's plans to finally come to fruition- Scotch finally stood up for himself and what he thought was best. He made the final blow, and banned her to the outlands- but then what?
He was afraid, he didn't know what to do. He had all this power, and he'd just banished his sense of direction. In a fit of mania he enacted the very rules Varian had intended to. He thinks back to this often whiel he sits inside waiting, thinking about the world he doesn't feel he can rejoin.

+ Very strong, both magically and physically, he can lift anything with ease
+ Still carries around some leftover potions and empty vials, actually knows a lot about alchemy and will still use this knowledge sometimes
