Since daylilies are gifted to others as as symbol of overcoming troubles, it's obviously the biggest thing between them (they're always troubled by something I swear) They come in all sorts of colors as well! orange, and purple/blue are always what I find myself coming back to though 

But outside of that,  each of them does have flowers they tend to be represented by outside of daylilies too

With Nira it's usually the Gladiolus (commonly known as the sword lily) that tends to represent strength, honor, and faith. Nira tends to be more strong outwardly than Liana, if not appearing rather sharp on the outside. (She does tend to have a more soft interior, but Liana tends to acknowledge her as strong and tough regardless)

On the other hand, Liana tends to be personally represented by Sunflowers which can typically represent faith, positivity, and hope. While Liana's resolve is much much weaker than Nira's, I sort of see it as the message of hope for all things. Liana's obviously a bit of a pessimistic crybaby compared to Nira, though I think these things tend to cheer her up when she's sad. There are also tiger lilies, more representative of good fortune and prosperity. (though she tends to lack the strength they embody)

Outside of those big three off the top of my head, I do have some smaller ones you're free to work with any of these if you get extra ideas!! (I really enjoy the Alstroemeria and Tulips myself)
Alstroemeria - Represents many things, including love and mutual support. They also come in orange/yellow and purple (it's just like them!!)
Parrot Tulips - deep, unconditional love. come in lots of colors as well! Tulips in general are pretty fun, especially Variegated Tulips which resemble beautiful eyes (because I think Nira is especially self-conscious of her missing/ shut-eye)
Carnations - symbolism tends to be based on color, though red carnations symbolize deep love and affection. A heart aching for someone else.

- for props in the background, i was thinking maybe dnd dice??? this one in specific but i get if youre unconfortable, i bought this dice before knowing about all the bad stuff about bad dragon. just a red dice would be ok! whatever you feel most confortable tbh. or on the other hand,the props could be lil fire emojis!!
-  a headshot of him and a simple dog golden retriever with a double arrow poiting to both of them saying "same character" (hes very golden retriever coded) OR instead, just him with dog ears instead of his dragon ears saying "dog."
- a simple headshot of him holding a climbing potion saying "this could have been useful to prevent us from drowning.", kinda annoyedsweating a bit but mostly nervous/trying to laugh (context: he forgot he had that potion and almost got everyone drowned. so he would be like "woops hehe '^^ "). The climbing potion dont really have an image to represent it, but it describes as "The potion is separated into brown, silver, and gray layers resembling bands of stone. Shaking the bottle fails to mix the colors.", so you could do that or just green! (since its my personal imagination of it lol)

this is copy pasted of the backstory i sent to my dungeon master, so im sorry if its formated weird!
also I'm so sorry this feels so much like an infodump. you're totally totally free to skip all of this and just see his personality instead. SMWQNSMW

He was born between a human bard and a dragon. like that donkey and dragon from the shrek movie idk dont ask me how that worked

Her mother is the dragon, her name is Aizagora and his dad is the bard his name is Alexandre. ref link tho i dont think you will use it

The bard was an adventurer, like in a party, just like dnd!! But npc NRNEJWJW
And they got a mission to invade a castle and steal something, they were offerign alot of g old so they just accepted it

They invaded at night when most people were sleeping and had to find the thing so they separated in small groups to cover as much ground aa possible. The bard ended up going to the dungeons and there they found the dragon (duke's mom) caged

The dragon could comunicate because they had like, a magic collar thing?? That translated anything they said in draconic to common, so thats pretty much how the bard and them communicated
The dragon had it from the castle, its also kinda like a shock collar if they refused to colaborate with the castle members

So they talked for a while, and the bard felt sorry for her so he decided to free her, seeing she really was just so tired from being imprisioned there for years

They coudlnt really be stealth anymore with a dragon on the
loose, so in end they ended up burning the entire castle NEBWHWHWHWHWH and the thing they were suppose to steal burned too but hey, at least they had a cool dragon friend now,,!,,

they went more on adventures and ended up getting close
I have more ideas about their dynamic, but its  not that important i think, if youd like for me to tell tho lmk
but yeah basically they had a thing and duke was born
After that the bard retired from the adventurer job and said farewell to his old friends to stay and be a father to duke

it was a very sweet home, well, actually a cave, no city really allowed a talking concious fire dragon to live on them
Duke learned draconian from his mother and common + Brazil from his dad

He used to tell him all the time about his adventures which is what motivated duke to start his owns!
He also really wanted to see more dragons like his mom, like hed love to see one of each type lmao

His dad also used to bring him to close by villages and cities both for School along wifh just like... Socializing in general NENWHWHWJHW to not be stuck inntje cave for his entire lfie

At the start of dukes advebtures, his dad, even if old, went with him to make sure his son wouldnt get hurt
Untill his dad found a lead that could help him find his old adventure friends, and rhats when they separated paths
Duke would love to have gine with him but his fahhwr refuses
Now duke is just rooting for him to be able to find them, and reunite again
And maybe finally meet his dad`s friend that he talked so much abkut

And he cant wait to go back to home to talk with his mom about his cool adventure and how he saved a clown (another party member) from being drowned

^^ this is the backstory, what happened before the campaign

this is waht happened in rpg so far, this is mostly so you can understand some of the inside jokes if youd like:

Having been hired to deal with a rodent problem back in the walls of Damerel, our heroes work quickly, vanishing after refusing to hand over an amulet that they retrieved during their adventures in the sewers,  this very amulet had the power to summon hordes of rats (owned by kacis, which ref sheet i linked above), which given their previous predicament, the people of Damerel were not too happy about. Picking up a pet rat with the ability to cast a fireball on their way out, they began to wander together off into the woods to the next town in search of new adventure.

Along their travels, they would bump into an elven child whose name is now Onver Sourdirt.  Onver asked for their assistance to help save his dear friend from strange creatures that lumbered about the woods. These creatures would become known as the blights, it would later be revealed by an orc monk called Mazoga that these blights were once members of their small town but it's since been changed and twisted into these awful creatures, a former shell of who they used to be. She felt as if she had no choice but to ask our heroes for help, instructing them to the source of the blight, a large tree that seemingly sprung up overnight, having the source of the spreading disease, turning Woodlands gray and dead. Believing a druid that hailed from the town to be responsible, she asked the heroes to deal with the problem in exchange for some gold.

As they traversed the woods, they would stumble across an unconscious tiefling, deciding to assist him instead of rob him, he would introduce himself as Freddy, a member of a traveling circus who's just recently became separated from his family. With the help of Freddy they would locate the tree known as the Gulithias Tree,  fighting off a group of blights as they made their way up to the tree in search of the Druid, when it came time for combat, instead of their sharp weapons and harmful spells, they relied on their sharp tongues to convince the Druid to leave these words. To everybody's surprise it worked. (to everyone surprises because duke lied saying there were ghosts in the tree. no one expected it to work, and we frequently joke about us being the ghost busters if you want to do something related to this :] )  With the Druid gone they discovered within the cauldron a cure to the blight disease that would revert people back to their former selves if drunk. Scooping up a few extra bottles they destroyed the tree and returned to the town to give them the news. Freddy was unable to find the rest of his circus family so set off with the rest of our heroes to find them.
Upon moving to the next town they were attacked by slimes, after fighting them off they discovered Chappy town,  Chappy Town was in the midst of a very important celebration, a festival was being set up, however something was preventing the festivities from festivising. A rogue bard by the name of Davy had been attacking the town with his awful music and worse slimes, killing the mayor of Chappy Town’s beloved cats. He frantically begged our heroes to rid them of Davy and his awful hurdy gurdy. Infatuated with the mayor, they wasted no time in destroying Davy, and I mean absolutely obliterating him, man became a pile of ashes, his pronouns be was/ were.

Able to enjoy the festivities Chappy town had to offer, the mayor told Freddie that he had heard wind that his circus group had made their way to Port Shaw to perform, however the rest of the crew had discovered something a little more urgent, wandering off into the woods while Duke was passed out after drinking the hairball concoction (a beverage) , they discovered the druids pet spider and followed it to an old cabin deep in the woods where they discovered a sapling. Kacias decided to take the Sapling with them, keeping it in a jar. The mayor would then direct them to a port where they could find a dear friend of his by the name of Captain Riggs, informing them that this man could bring them to Port Shaw as a thank you for helping him rid the town of Davy.

Deciding to stick with Freddie in his search for his Circus, they made their way down to the port and discovered the captain they were searching for, being allowed passage on his ship they began to sail but things weren't as they seemed. Deciding to annoy the captain they stole his poison and replaced it with hair dye, and soon they would come across a shipwreck, the flying fortune. Captain Riggs decided to investigate with our heroes, but it turned out to be a trap as Captain Riggs was under the control of the black Leach and had attempted to backstab our party. Fortunately the party was able to rid him of the black Leach and declined his request to kill him, they decided to rid the world of the creature that had destroyed captain rigs ship and crew,  captain rigs described the creature as a brain eating monster that forced him to bring back unsuspecting sailors to their death. Traversing their way deeper into the fortune they found the layer of the beast, a strange ship with stranger technologies.

In the belly of the beast, arguments were had, horns were lost (freddy, also linked above, lost a horn because kacis hit him with a staff lol) , chairs were balled (duke tied a bunch of chair togheter to use as a way to keep the rope from falling down the hole while they were trying to climp) , but they were able to slay the creature, preventing further harm from coming to the world. As the ship self-destructed, our party narrowly avoided drowning, and have now returned to the ship to recover, continuing their way to Port Shaw in search of Freddy's Circus.





Personality wise he is very friendly, friendly to the point of being stupid. and trusting people too easily. Also easily manipulated but really really strong and reliable! he could lift your mood up with a few hugs :] very touchy type person. extroverted. if he sees you on the street he WILL strike a convo. this is a threat
Easily excited but as easily distracted, forgets stuff easily, only wants to be friends with everyone, only became a rogue because it sounded cool on paper but it goes totally agaisnt his morals stealing stuff lol
