Kit+Apprentice

Flailkit was brought to the clan with his sibling Saplingkit from birth. Although Flailkit remembers very vividly his mother and Spikeshades love for eachother, witnessing his father say his loving goodbyes to his mother as she passed. Flailkit would often torment Midnightkit with this information and how much his own father loved him and not Midnightkit, as he was aware how cold Spikeshade was to his other kin. While not getting along with his step-sister, him and Saplingkit were close!

Having his father starve himself to death in order to provide Flailpaw with food really woke Flailpaw up to the gravity of life and death, making them want to work hard along with their siblings. Unfortunately…losing Saplingpaw to a dog really impacted Flailpaw as he’d lost everyone he loved in just a short time. From the bullying-type smartass who thought they knew everything, they became pretty depressed and guilt ridden.

He always tried to spend time with Midnightpaw and be her friend in an attempt to make up for being so horrible as a kit, not wanting to lose the only family he had again. The two became warriors early together and he wished Saplingpaw could’ve been by their side.

Warrior

Flailspring and Midnighthowl were tasked to bury Warmsun, but starvation got the better of Flailspring and he convinced Midnight that eating him would be beneficial for both of them to have strength to hunt. This action he only did out of desperation and the two were sick with guilt after. It wasn’t long until fire broke out in the territory and burnt down their camp. The pair saw this as punishment from Starclan for what they’d done and blamed it all on themselves.

After the fire he was one of the only 4 cats left in the clan, sticking by their sister despite the two still having a rocky relationship. In all honesty…they were grateful they were not alone. One day Flailspring went out hunting but was attacked by a dog- the other three cats noticed him missing and did their best to find him. He was rescued by Stormdawn, Blueblade and Midnighthowl but his injuries were to severe so he said his goodbyes and passed away.
