💉 vidya;

a doctor living in a post-apocalyptic world. everything went to shit after the Interworld War, with the air turning toxic from the miasma expelled by the otherworldly creatures. vidya who was one of the figure present in the heart of the war inhaled much of the miasma and her insides become riddled with corruption. if untreated, it will turn her into a creature incapable of thoughts and feelings.

returning home from war has her resume her operations as the local doctor, only with shorter hours (though she is always available if someone asks for her). the reduced hour is allocated to an independent research she’s conducting to find a cure for the ill that has affected her and other war-touched individuals. those who made it out of the battlefield unanimously agreed to keep their corruption a secret as to not incite panic. they are kept under heavy surveillance though, and those who becomes fully corrupted and turns will be killed on sight.
