Snowe

After he becomes an angel and Nox takes away his memories to spare him from his misery, he becomes a hollow, emotionless shell, only performing his duties perfunctorily. As with all angels, he develops a deep distaste for demons, and will not hesitate eliminate any on sight. He does not care about human life, but prefers not to cause causalities on principle. Only after his memories are restored does he gain back his old personality. 

Snowe was born in the 14th century and grew up in an orphanage, likely abandoned by his parents due to his albinism. His appearance resulted in him being bullied by the other children, but he made friends with a quiet solemn boy by the name of Grey.

When the orphans grew of age, they were sent to work in a nearby lord's castle. The lord took a liking to Snowe and made him his personal attendant, showering him with expensive clothes and lavish gifts. However, Snowe, who disliked the lord and his unwanted advances, would simply sell the gifts to buy food and clothes for Grey and the other orphans. This drew the ire of the other servants, and one of the lord's courtiers was particularly jealous of the attention Snowe was receiving.

Snowe eventually grew tired of working in the lord's household, and plotted an escape with Grey. While the lord was away on a trip, Snowe stole some of his jewelry to afford transportation out of the city. Unfortunately, his theft was exposed by the envious courtier, who ordered his immediate execution. In the lord's absence, the courtier's orders could not be challenged. No one was willing to risk the repercussions of standing up for Snowe, not even those he had helped, thus Snowe was beheaded for his crime.

After his death, his soul was judged by the Reapers, who deemed him virtuous enough to become an angel. In Heaven, he was assigned to the typical angelic duties of eliminating demons and monsters, as well as acting as a guardian angel to select humans. However, he never stopped watching over Grey, and greatly despaired at the dark path his friend had taken after his death. Meanwhile, he caught the attention of Nox, the King of the Angels, who was drawn to his appearance and declared him the purest of angels.

Nox's favoritism naturally turned the other angels against Snowe, but he could do little to reject the angel king's affections. Nox soon awarded him the title of the Archangel of Ice, and later on the Archangel of Storms as well when the previous title holder fell from grace.

However, Nox soon became irritated by Snowe's obsession with Grey, as well as Snowe's constant aura of despair that marred his cheerful presence. He thus decided to take away Snowe's memories of his past against Snowe's wishes. Snowe forgot about Grey and his own miserable fate, but he also lost every last trace of his personality. While Nox was disappointed that he was left with little more than an obedient doll, he was at least satisfied that Snowe's pure image was not tainted. 

Snowe was accidentally summoned to earth by members of a mysterious cult, but appearing in his true angelic form disintegrated his summoners to ashes. Instead he encountered  a monster hunter, Leo, together with Grey, who had become the Archdemon Quintus. Their reunion was less than joyous, however, as Snowe no longer recognized Quintus, and immediately tried to kill him. They get into a brief fight, but Quintus managed to subdue Snowe.

Quintus, unwilling to accept Snowe as his enemy now, decided to do everything in his power to restore Snowe's memories. He transported them back into the past to witness the events of Snowe's execution. Initially, Snowe merely thought it was one of the demon's tricks, but he was convinced of the truth after a confrontation with Nox. Snowe, angered by Nox's violation of his autonomy, fled from Heaven and took up residence in Quintus's home on earth.
