Eva (Young Eva)

Eva about 25 years after she first ran away and started living on her own. A very lonely woman who tries her best to make friends with the village that she lives on the outskirts of, but even before making Colette, the town didn't want anything to do with her. There isn't any outright animosity yet, but it's made pretty clear to her that she's an outsider.

Still, she doesn't let it get her down, at least not too much. She throws all of her energy into maintaining her gardens and sewing, almost always constantly on the move or doing some sort of hard work to tend to her flowers. She's every bit as motherly and welcoming to anyone who she happens to meet or comes to visit her, and is perhaps even more excited when she does have company, since it has gotten a bit lonesome over the years. She's easily excitable, even as she's gotten older, and is quick to take charge and lead people where ever she wants to take them (most often for tea and cookies). 

She's also still very much a cheek pincher so prepare your faces for some affectionate pinching
