The strange conductor of The Cosmo Express began as just a small star in a distant galaxy, born in an explosion of light and energy. The star had a peaceful existence for many millions of years before, in what once would've felt like a second to it, their world threatened to implode within itself.

The star gained a will to escape the galaxy, forming a sentience and body, fleeing in a shot of light. It traveled across the many galaxies of the world, meeting people along the way, some that loved them, some that despised them. When it felt accomplished, the star had a grand idea. It decided to make a train within the dreams of others that floated within the infinite space.

Astrophel gathered their favourite people from across the universe and brought them upon the train, keeping it running with the power of stars and dreams. The workers upon the train became forced into a limbo-esque state of existence, forced to stay upon the train yet Astrophel sees nothing wrong with this.

Astrophel is not a being that fully understands morals and emotions, often being insensitive and cruel, yet fully believing in a stubborn manner that they are doing the just and good thing. Ze completely mold zir personality dependant on who they are around and never tend to act just one way. They are incredibly unpredictable and they act in a chaotic manner, having little to no order on how they go about things.

In front of the passengers and workers they're happy with, Astrophel is easily regarded as an eccentric but polite and welcoming host, being energetic and bouncy, happy to welcome and help passengers to the train or have fun chats with their employees. However, when the conductor is alone or someone gets on their bad side, they become cold and emotionless, their front put away. If one were to stand against them, the star does not have any reservations about threatening their workers. Xe know xe hold great power above any of the beings on their train and won't stop to flaunt it.
