“Wow, I almost feel bad for Todd-chan. Bitch has two horny, hyperactive nuggets to look over and he comes home one night dunk off his ass in a tomato costume? I’m not surprised he was the first to die. Sorry!! It was gonna be either you or me!!”
"It's alright, Noel. Don't be afraid." For the most part, Noel's an easygoing kid. He doesn't intentionally weasel his way into trouble, he's mostly cooperative, and he's overall a sweetheart. But that doesn't mean trouble doesn't weasel it's way to Noel. Todd fears for this kid, because Noel never knows how to handle it. He has at least sixteen phobias and is prone to tears. Spiders, heights, and failed exams alike will have Noel sobbing in the corner. Todd's always there to support his beloved, adopted kids, though.
"... If you're sure." Noel, while age is distancing him a bit, is attached to his adoptive dad. They might've had a rough patch during and after Todd was put on trial, but time healed the wound. Noel came to realize that Todd might've aimed at the murder, but after it all, Todd did care about the two of them. Once he fled the castle, he really did dedicate his life to assuring their well-being. However, that's only one of Noel's many fears solved. He usually finds himself ducking into the nearest hiding spot, with Todd needing to drag him out. At the least, Noel appreciates that Todd is willing to push him to be more courageous.
"Calliope, you can't just dare your brother to jump from the roof!" Oh, boy. To Todd, Callie is akin to taking care of two children, with how difficult she is. She's argumentative and stubborn, ready to put up a fight with even her knightly dad if he asks her to stop. Even worse, she loves to pick on everyone- even Todd. The only weapons Todd is armed with to deal with this up-and-coming brute is his natural strength and chilling dad glare. Regardless, he spoils her with love and care. He did save her and Noel for a reason other than a promise, after all.
"You're no fun!" A blatant lie, as Callie finds Todd incredibly fun. They might've had a rough patch during and after Todd was put on trial, but time healed the wound. Callie came to realize that Todd might've aimed at the murder, but after it all, really didn't yearn to finish it. He didn't have to spare her and her brother, Todd really did love her and it wasn't a facade. She understands that now, but that doesn't mean she won't pick on her poor dad. Callie finds herself getting scolded for a lot of things, even as a teenager. It's all part of the joy of messing with Todd, though.
