Alma is witty, streetwise, independent and fearless. As a petty thief, she isn’t exactly the island’s most wanted pirate but she still has her run ins with the law from time to time. Despite her status as a criminal, Alma does have some moral structure, only stealing what she needs and never stealing out of greed. As an orphan, Alma learned to look out for herself at a young age and quickly grew to be independent - however, she does find it incredibly hard to trust others which has often led to her feeling isolated. Unlike many other pirates, she doesn’t own a ship of her own and travels by sneaking onto the ships of others.
