A gentle, experienced and wise lioness. She's a member of her lion pride, the Northern Amber Tribe. Fayola is her half-sister, born from the same mother but different fathers. As Xena's father (the former leader) was murdered by Fayola's father (the current pride leader). But despite that, Xena and Fayola cares for each others.
Fayola was an experienced fighter, but not much of a hunter. And with that, she built a close relationship with her half-sister. With her great hunting skill and Fayola's fighting skill, both lionesses promises to help each other.
Tamala is her best friend, despite that she’s a painted dog, a rival to lions. Xena always be there for Tamala, she often feels sad but Xena patiently comfort her and support her. No one could separate the two, they’ll always be by each other’s side.
After the tragedy of hyena attack on Tamala’s pack, Xena helps her best friend solving all the problems. And since then, Xena was accepted by the painted dogs pack. She’s free to pay Tamala a visit anytime she wanted to.
