Invar

  • Invar is a warrior, a trustworthy team player and just all around cool dude. Probably allergic to talking about real feelings, tho. Very loyal, to the point of probably being in love with the leader of their pack.
  • She thought war and heroic stories of it were the coolest thing until she had to actually fight in one, and now has their fair share of nightmares and insomnia.
  • Invar's favourite god is the goddess Freya. The two piercings under both of her eyes symbolize Freya's golden tears, and the most priceless thing Invar owns is a family heirloom, a cloak made of feathers - said to be a gift from the goddess herself. True or not, Invar wears it only on very special occasions

Appearance

  • Light brown, fairly sturdy wolf. Fur is pretty long throughout, but definitely the at its longest around her cheeks, where it's been braided and bound with two golden rings.
  • Light gray eyes with a hint of blue. Two golden piercings under both eyes.

story

Invar and her two siblings, Monel and Volframi, were born as a second, very wanted, litter to an aging couple of wolves. Invar never met their older siblings, Elinvar and Sitall, because they both had fell in battle before her birth, but they often heard about their heroic deeds.
Invar's youth was pretty normal. Right from the start they knew they wanted to be a soldier, just like their older siblings, and after meticulously going through the training, that's what she became.

After a long peaceful time as a border guard, Invar's first real battles were in Norddal's conquering war, where Invar gladly followed the Jarl Jorunnr (©Tintti) whom she greatly admired. Turned out that a real war wasn't quite as magnificent and glorious, as stories and tales had said, but Invar fought valiantly and in the end the war was won.

Life in Úlfurheim during a new peace is infinitely more to Invar's liking, but especially with their soldier buddies they still like to praise the tumult of war and the honorable fallen, and frankly seems to yearn for battle.
But in all honesty, Invar hopes very much to never have to experience anything like war ever again.
