About

Marnie is a ghost whisperer who hosts her own "ghosting-hunting" show. She's extremely passionate about spreading the message that spirits are not malevolent and just need help passing over. Her show is not very popular since it doesn't go out of it's way to be scary, rather focusing on helping people understand the paranormal. It only really stays afloat due to her mother paying for them to keep filming it. She isn't exactly a great host since she can get very camera shy, but she insists on doing it anyway. Other than this, she's quite a normal girl who loves K-pop, drama shows, and fashion. She now suddenly spends a lot of her time with her girlfriend and their sibling.

Marnie is someone who doesn't really know what to say a lot of the time. She wants to socialize with others her age but feels like she comes off as strange due to her position and work. Her role model is her older sister, but she isn't actually much like her at all. Very well-behaved, she is a bit of a goody-two-shoes, and her sister picks on her for this. It's easy for her to get favor and approval from older people. This suck-up attitude tends to get on others nerves but she's oblivious to it. She is smart and resourceful, so she is quick to learn. But she has a problem with getting very frustrated when she encounters something she can't get right on the first try.

Backstory (as of now)

Second-born daughter in the Leonine household, she was born to a different father than her sister, Mao. Her birth was kept extremely secret after Mao was born without any spiritual abilities. She was raised isolated because of this and missed out on socializing as a child, which has made talking to people now a chore for her. From an extremely young age she'd show herself to be exceptional at communicating with spirits. Her mother would show constant attention to her to help her learn to control this. This made Marnie feel a need to get approval from the adults around her and put a lot of pressure on herself to be perfect.
