In the duchy where the story takes place, Beryl is the duchess who rules her people with the highest of standards. She aggressively tries to do what's best for her people, even to the detriment of other mythical creatures. Her territory is at peace because she's pretty active in disciplining anyone who tries to fool around too hard in her area. She's very serious but there are a couple of people she's softer towards compared to others, and generally likes people who do their work well and without complaining. Her staff is very afraid of her.

Izzy
[ Girlfriend ] Beryl is very sweet on Izzy (much to the surprise of everyone around her, including her staff). She's very much in love with her wanderlusting girlfriend and often worries when she's gone for long stretches of time. Beryl is somewhere safe where Izzy can come home to whenever she wants to, and Izzy eases Beryl's tensions and stress from her work.
Francis
[ Confidant ] Francis is the only man who Beryl will buy suits from, as their superior quality and fashionable taste is nothing less than what she's expecting from a fellow perfectionist. Francis also keeps his ear to the ground for any information regarding underworld activities or activities in other provinces/countries so she can keep up to date and take advantage of any situations that may arise.
