The air here is sweet and refreshing, The weather is cool but seemingly always sunny. The perfect place for a vineyard and adjoining farm!
Design notes
Nestled just outside of Spearmint Springs, This vineyard is always ready to harvest some grapes and turn them into delicious products!
It also acts as a halfway house for sweeticals and others down on their luck. In exchange for their labor with the farmland, they are given a place to stay, food to eat, as well as being paid for their help!
The Buildings consist of the large farmhouse that acts as the Madame’s home and a general goods store, then there’s the farmhand bunkhouse and there a few facility buildings such as a barn, for animals such as Jellephants and Cowcoa, and a place for the staff to crush grapes and storehouses for stock.
Backstory
Established by Madame Petit Cayuga over 500 years ago, her vineyard promotes the spirit of Spearmint Springs.
People were wary at first because of her being a fallen Sweetical and the scary look of her trusted farmhand.
However, throughout the years she has earned their trust, even to the point of the townspeople defending her against those who would bring up her past lovers who mysteriously vanished and left her everything in the will.
She’s taken in many sweeticals over the years but a few have stayed working as full time staff, such as Merriam, who was once a member of Spearmint Springs and the first to work there.
Just recently, Sophie was brought to the Vineyard by Ezra Mordred, the Madame has taken a great interest in her and dotes on her.
Notable Residents
The Owner of this fine establishment. She doesn’t dirty a nail with the work on the farm, however, she’s fantastic at handling people.
Madame Petit’s little Popnicorn. It’s responsible for the flavor of the Vineyard’s special Mulberry Jam Wine. While the little thing is spoiled rotten by its owner, everyone knows that if anything happened to Jammie, Petit would kill everyone in the room and then herself.
She tried to be a model but after too many bad experiences, she found herself at the vineyard. She gets treated with respect here so she plans to stay. Blush mainly takes care of the animals.
She joined the Vineyard staff to show the people of Spearmint Springs that Cayuga was a kind person and nothing to fret over. She’s since fallen in love with the woman and works at the front desk of the storefront as well as handling tours.
Sophie has only just arrived at the vineyard, The Madame cares for her immensely for some reason; regardless, she is allowed to stay without working due to her medical condition.
She once had to work here but now can come and go as she pleases. Leaving on good terms, Agana often comes by to just help out and see the staff and her old friends.
Lupa’s been here since the beginning. He doesn’t speak much but seems to fully understand any language spoken and while he looks fearsome, he’s a rather good lad.
