Physiology

Their gray skin has the texture of ash and charcoal. When they get stressed or lets negative emotions affect them, their body is prone to cracking and crumbling.

Their body is capable of storing up heat for energy and to release it. Depending how much heat they emit, their body turns darker and their gold patterns glows a bright yellow.
The blue stripes across their body acts as venting, so when they release heat they glow and is set ablaze in multiple hues from red to yellow to blue depending on how hot it is.
Releasing all of this heat and setting fire to their body uses a lot of energy as they are exerting their own bodyheat and energy to do this, so this is mostly used for self-defense or when enraged. To recover, they have to rest in warm places with ash and coal, prefferably in a fireplace or bonfire. Their body absorbs the ash and coal automatically to heal cracks or damaged parts, but an extended rest is needed to get energy back.

The pouch under their neck is filled with chemicals which can be used to belch up a superheated kind of spit which sets fire to any biological material it comes into contact with.

Both their tongue and tail can be set fire to, to be used as fiery whips.
