Windswipe's Links
Although she knows he's a troublemaker, she finds Mudpelt's ideas more interesting than her usual duties. She sometimes aids him out of simple curiosity, though she will put her paw down and pull out the moment she catches wind of his plans involving any real harm or danger.
Mudpelt knows that Windswipe is open to helping him, as long as it doesn't involve anything too harmful, and he appreciates her help a lot. But instead of tailoring his plans to her preferences, he just leaves out the harmful parts from his explanation; he figures that by the time any harm is done, she'll have understood his genius and gotten on board.
This has never happened, but he holds out hope.
Windswipe took part in rescuing Loudfur from a fox, having followed Foxsight to the site of the attack. She keeps an eye on him, knowing that he's Mudpelt's friend, and sometimes chats with him to get a clearer view of whatever Mudpelt is currently doing.
Loudfur appreciates Windswipe and considers her a friend and senior to be respected. He sometimes feels uncomfortable if she starts pressing him too hard for information, though. He's a bit puzzled as to why Mudpelt sometimes "forgets" to tell her things.
Windswipe privately wonders why Starclan chose a mere apprentice to act as their mouthpiece, but has never voiced these thoughts. After all, she saw Foxsight run straight into a fox's maw in order to save his clanmate. She finds Foxsight to be a bit too immature for his responsibilities, so she tries to keep tabs on whether he has had any other Starclan visions that he may stupidly put himself in danger from.
When Foxsight had his vision of the fox attacking Loudfur, he rushed out of camp without much more than a "come on!". Windswipe was one of the cats that listened, and the one who ensured Foxsight was not killed fighting the fox. As such Foxsight appreciates and respects Windswipe, feeling comfortable with going to her for help.
The fact she doesn't worship him is a nice bonus.
