What is known

Salem is a foregrein surname, but he has neither an accent or difficulties with the traditions of the South, perhaps a descendant from one of the countries overseas.

At Evite, he is in charge of running things when Ametyr isn't around and assign juniors to their tutors once they reach level 3. Due to a deal between the State and the Ethels, Aarseth is also in charge of the rehabilitation of a few selected prisioners, they are either free from the company with a nice little resume, or invited to stay. Most of them choose to stay.

Still trying to wrap his mind around the fact that this is a child with far too much power than any child should have. That being said, the less he interacts with Jonathan, the better.

Seth immensely cares for his mother. And although he does not trust the One she follows, he sticks around Ametyr to make sure They will never ask too much of her. Today, Aarseth acts on behalf of Ametyr when she's out. She completely trusts his decisions, because she guided him to know how to make them.

"Mother?" The little one heard movement inside the house, as if there was a small earthquake, or a very angry adult. It was still far too early, Ametyr shouldn't be home for a few more hours. But there she was, packing a few clothes and the sword. The child came closer and held her arm for support.

"Ametyr" The lady corrected him. "Take your belongings. We leave by noon."

"Where to?" Would they move again? He was getting along with the kids in Vale.

"Nix. Find out where it is and waste no time. We need to burn this place in time."

"Yes, mom" Aarseth shook his head up and down, and left the house before Ametyr could scold him again.

Little Seth still couldn't understand her. He was a ghost, the orphanages in Martel wouldn't take him because he lacked the chip, so the child had to settle for the street for years. When the angel took him under her shadows and said she had to keep him safe, he saw the possibility to finally have a family, or even a mother! But months had passed, and his "mother" was still just as cold as the others who denied help. Has he not been a good son? Should he try harder to feel like family? Or maybe... That's what a family felt like, after all?

He has been living in Omens for a few weeks now, so he already knew exactly where to go and who he should talk to. Aarseth was very smart like that. A few hours had passed when the boy returned "home".

"Have you bought the tickets?" Ametyr handed him his backpack and closed the windows and curtains with a snap.

"Yes, mother-" Aarserth put his hand over his mouth, with a few teeth missing "I mean, Ametyr."

"Much better, don't you agree?" She smiled and kneeled to match his height. Aarseth ran to her and hugged the lady, who graciously accepted the embrace.

"Would you like to help me finish the house?"

"Yes, please." The child let her go and ran to the kitchen. All of that would soon be over. Ametyr followed shortly after.

Minutes later, the child and her found themselves outside, each with a bag cointaining Aarseth's books - the child didn't seem to trust the Noir enough to leave them behind. Ametyr looked around; Omens had a good view of the region, and a calm enviroment for her prayer. If allowed to, she'd like to come back someday. She touched the floor and the Shadow of her fingers made Its way to the house, killing the grass it touched.

When the walls became entirely surrounded by It, the angel held the boys hand and left. The two of them would not stay to mourn the house - they never did anyway - so they couldn't watch the shadows of the Noir sinking the house to the ground, burying it along with the memories of the last few weeks.

Decades passed. And his angel hasn't aged a day, as they normally do. But the child stil grew old without a family, and Aarseth now knew the some truth behind all of her purposes.
