Rodney was born in Boston and moved to New Mexico when he was around 12 due to safety purposes. He is the middle child of 6 sisters, living a rather normal life spending time with his friends and watching his sisters while his Mom worked. Once he left for college, he knew it was not his speed, so he fell in the wrong crowd. He got into drinking and drugs to cope with his hate for college, as well as getting tattoos to seem cooler around his group of friends.
After a while, he had enough of this life and decided to try joining the military as it was his dream since he was a kid. Rodney couldn’t get into the military even though he was so strong, so he decided to try the next best thing; Mercenary work. The Administrator gave Rodney an offer, if he accepted this contract and worked for RED for a certain number of years, then the Administrator could get him into the military no matter what. This deal was very intriguing to Rodney so he accepted, plus the pay was good too!
He’s cocky and tough, and kind of obnoxious to some. He’s pretty similar to canon Scout but more military driven. He’s always been a popular guy and has had lots of friends throughout his life!
- The button on the left plays Slow Ride by Sublime! This song is my voice claim for Rodney, and it goes along with his story a bit. :)
- To appease his sisters, Rodney would let his sisters dress him up. He secretly likes to dress up femininely but doesn't do it much now that he's out of the house.
- Rodney has internalized homophobia, due to the time period, society, and his step father probably walking in when his sisters were dressing him up and calling him mean things probably...
- He really only hooks up with guys, and has real relationships with girls. His male relationships have never been healthy... and now being part of RED, It's not going to get any better lol.
- Since he is so into the military, his outfit is very militarized!
- Probably has some sort of army haircut too.
- His gloves are from an old friend back in Boston, maybe the friend being his first boy crush... wears them to remember the friend and remember his life back in Boston!
- He got most of his tattoos in college and regrets almost all of them, especially because they can't get him in the military. He still has a few sentimental ones though that he cherishes!

Hookup
After BLU teams old scout Scott (Jesper's now ex) was kicked out of the team so a new certain BLU scout could come in, Jesper got to know RED teams scout a little too well if you know what I mean. But it was just a little fling and Rodney doesn't have any serious feelings towards Jesper (as well as Rodney's internalized homophobia holding him back)
Teammate
Klaus is the RED teams Medic, Rodney and Klaus are just coworkers and don't really have any chemistry. Rodney is the type of person Klaus wouldn't like because he's kinda obnoxious. I haven't really fleshed out their relationship so it's bound to change!
