Larson Azura
About
The Evoker’s Child of the Throat—Larson Azura quickly becomes the Akwan equivalent to a university drop out with leagues of wasted potential. At least, in the eyes of his mother. Frankly, he couldn’t care less anymore. Being the only fifteen year old in a combat academy filled with young adults was absolutely exhausting. He’s free from that burden now.
But some days he can't help but wonder whether it was really worth it or not.

Likes
Carnivorous Plants
Larson keeps them in his room actually, he thinks they're cool. Venus flytraps are his favorite.
Chocolate Croissants
Especially if they're straight out the oven.
Arrogance
Arrogant people are obnoxious as hell, sure, but at the same time he thinks it's oddly sexy?
Plays
Specifically reading them, not watching them.
Winning Arguments
Smart people love to constantly be right. Larson is in fact a extremely smart person.
Dislikes
The Innovators Academies
He never wanted to go in the first place, he just felt pressured to go by his mother.
Fruit Flies
Tiny little irritating menaces.
Speakers
People really need to stop playing their music out loud on speakers as they walk around campus.
Hick Music
Awful, horrible music.
Mannequins
They don't frighten him, just unsettle him to his core. They're creepy...
Abilities
Telekinesis
Inheritance related. A very basic ability, but Larson is able to move and interact with objects only with his mind—thus being able to move things a great distance in the air without physically contact. Since the ability is connected through his mind, it can be activated and controlled through conscious effort and concentration on Larson’s part. Additionally, Larson’s mind and mental capacity can affect the accuracy, precision, range, and strength of his ability. All of that to say: Larson utilizes his Inheritance scarily well. It’s basically second nature to him at this point and comes to him very easily. The only real limitation is how many objects he can move around at once. If the objects are on the smaller side, Larson can move a lot more of them at the same time. However, the larger the objects get, the less he can move around.
Basic Water Manipulation
Race related. Larson is able to create, shape, and manipulate water—directing it to wherever he wishes with his will. It is important to note that he can utilize some of its forms; steam, sweat, water pressure, etc. However, this excludes both blood and ice.
Underwater Breathing
Race related. He is able to breathe in both air and water, being capable of staying and breathing underwater for long quantities of time. Larson will have to eventually resurface, however. He isn’t an aquatic Semiferum after all, so he can’t stay underwater forever.
Water Detection
Race related. Think of it as being a walking, talking dowsing rod. Larson can both follow and sense the presence of water, knowing the amount or size of water they are sensing and whether or not it is hidden. Very useful if you somehow find yourself in the desert I suppose.
Healing
Race related. Larson can heal themselves or others by using water. He does this by absorbing water molecules and transferring medicament into the body at a molecular level or by having water molecules repair and regenerate damaged cells and molecules. However, there are always certain severe wounds that cannot be healed this easily.
Combat Knowledge
Considering he went to a combat school, this was sort of a given. Larson knows his way around a plethora of different weapons—both traditional hand weapons and automated ones such as firearms—naturally being more skilled at using some over others. What he utilizes the most are daggers and tiny knives, Larson easily being able to pair these smaller weapons with his Inheritance.
Gardening Skills & Plant Knowledge
I mean, he's a plant guy—potted or otherwise. In fact, the books he can usually be seen reading are all about gardening or are usually plant related in some way. Larson really knows his stuff, especially when it comes to carnivorous plants. His main goal for when he finally lives on his own is to have a proper garden or greenhouse. That and just fill his place to the brim with plants.

Trivia
- Larson's deadname, Leticia, was actually the name of his late grandmother who he never knew. So, to keep in line with that trend, the new name he chose for himself was the name of his late grandfather. Larson however did know his grandfather before his death, and was pretty close to him when he was a small child.
- He equates his siblings to different flowers and nicknamed them as such: Rocco - Gladiolus, Samara - Coreopsis, Akita - Wisteria, Kyoko - Hortensia, Carson - Hellebores, and Monica - Montbretia.
- His left eye wound is extremely severe, and is unable to be properly healed. Larson covers it up for the longest time because it's literally just a gaping eye socket filled with the same sludge that taints the Arian blood. During the events of Icarus, Rufio Leroux gives Larson a water Vis laced gemstone to place in there—it being a shining light in a pool of dark. This makes Larson a bit more comfortable showing that eye from then on.
- Out of the four existing Innovators Academies, the one Larson applied for and got accepted into was Fiori Academy—it is run by Miss Lín Huáng.
