About
A once-Human Demon summoner who is- or, was- desperate to understand the logistics behind magic summoning power and Demonology in general.
Due to his constant link between the underworld and humanoid realm, his DNA was whittled away and transformed to demonic genes.
Now, he doesn't even know his real name or his youth... Neither of his adolescence or adulthood. This 'scientific search' has ruined his life and yet he can't even admit to it or see it as such, now that his memory is scattered and trashed.
There are times he even considers himself a full-fledged Demon, and can be seen as a traitor, slipping in and out of 'sides', going from righteously narrow-minded Human, to trouble-making reckless Demon.
It is the demonic realm's credo that they live with one-another peacefully, so most of the threats and troubles come from the humanoid realm. As such, it's safer for Wicke to hang around the demonic crowd than the humanoid crowd... They ARE his life's work, after all... But also, he doesn't have a death wish (despite his mercurial risk-seeking attitude).
Personality
Due to his lack of memories from time to time, he is first and foremost scatterbrained, to the point of being unsure what exactly was on any agenda he had planned for a day, much less a long period of time. It isn't a sweet trait by any means, often leaving him quick to snap-- very jerkish, demanding, and selfish. As such, he is oblivious to others needs, and rarely considers the ethos and pathos of his or other's circumstances.
Whether its his natural disposition to be ill-tempered or due to others interacting, he can't quite place or explain. Though, he rarely feels the need to question it. His life and his circumstances have been so whirlwind that he doesn't think much of his own feelings.
When alone, he is extremely contemplative and eerily silent. If left to his own devices (as in, if no one interferes or approaches/minds their business), he quite likes to lurk and keep as peaceful and quiet as possible.
Though, as is the norm with Demons traversing the humanoid realm, trouble occurs often, and when in trouble or having caused trouble, Wicke can be a force, justified bluster and wholly smug.
Skills and Abilities
Summoning
Despite his Demon-blood now, he can still summon Demons (with the right ingredients and flawlessly recited incantation).
...And boy do the other Demons hate it! They don't hesitate to try and stop him.
Realm-switch
Not due to his Demon genetics, but rather his old research, Wicke can use dark magics to switch between the Human realm and Demon realm. Somewhat like his Summoning ability, Wicke needs to use wordspells to utilize this properly.
Transformation
Wicke has the ability to transform his appearance each way of his genetics: more demonic, and more human.
... However, it's difficult if he's not incensed by something. So for example, he can definitely grow in menacing stature and become far less humanoid-looking if someone's got him in a corner/threatens his life.
Demon Constitution
Demons can stomach very little without needing to purge, only able to survive on raw meat (fresh or old is irrelevant).
Lifespan is infinite, death only coming to unlucky Demons, or Demons who tempt the mortal, Human realm; murder and accident rates are what keeps the demonic population in control.
Trivia
- The 'want art' tag does not extend to his human form! ...For now!
- He has no set world so you're welcome to think of him in any place/existence. 'Eras' are also fluid; he's primarily made to fit in high fantasy, but he can definitely go modern or even futuristic.
- Music is something that can often irritate him in this form. The quieter and softer the music is, the more inclined he'll be to tolerate it.
- Even with his body's needs having changed, Wicke still enjoys drinking tea... It tastes different to him, now, and that intrigues him. Also, it's about the only Human thing he can stomach anymore... Beside Human flesh, that is.
