Before summoning curses took hold of Wicke's body, this was his appearance and identity!

Devon Wicket was no-nonsense and truly dedicated to his passion. He knew Demons existed and wanted to figure out why exactly it was such. Humans had been linked with the evolution of 'lesser' creatures, surely something could be said the same of demons? However, as Devon uncovered more about the baseline existence of Demons, the more he started to realize they didn't work anywhere near similar to humans. It was even possible that their looks as semi-humanoid was a ploy to appease those that summoned them, rather than a 'true' form.

Eventually Devon's work outran him... Too much contact with a source of devilry overcame his system. He was chosen to continue on, but not as man.
