Summary

Yury has no memory of the people who brought her into this world, the earliest recollections she can make being that of the orphanage that she lived in; and the man who would eventually adopt her.

She never knew his real name, only ever refering to him as her uncle and whatever alias he provided to her at the time. A man of the Russian FSB, Yury was brought into his care purely to assist with a cover story of his. She was expected to die sometime during the duration of that mission, but managed to surpass the expecations of her uncle and his superiors when her actions became the catalyst for the missions success.

After the mission's completion, the agent formally adopted Yury and began putting her through school. Espionage surrounded Yury's life as she grew up, encouraging her ruthless nature as she studied until eventually she graduated from high school years earlier than her peers. Her univeristy studies were similar in that way, having graduated faster than most.

Post graduation she was immediately employed by the FSB due to her prior experiences. She worked in their forensics and biology department until the zombie fungus broke containment and started spreading out into the world. The infection took the life of her Uncle.

Yury was sent to work with international institutions to study the infection after her uncle's death in order to seek out a cure to the infection, though she was constantly hindered by regulations; her methods often being deemed too unethical and dangerous. She was constantly rejected from projects that weren't willing to do what she thought needed to be done.

It wasn't until she was approached by Dominika that she recieved an offer to study freely using whatever means she desired. She accepted it without hesitation, determined to seek out a way to neutrilize the infection and finally stand over the memory of spy who raised her.
