. | Yuri, despite working at a museum in the capital city of the Lesser Kingdom of Stellwyn, was not originally from there. Instead, she was originally from the Duchy of Painlande. When she was very young, however, she, along with her family and many others deemed as "heretics", were persecuted by the Grand Duchess and were forced to go into exile, where they dispersed across to other countries. She and her family ended up in Stellwyn, where she was forced to quickly assimilate, as she did not originally speak Stellwyn Galarian, the language of the Kingdom. Over time, though, she adapted, and eventually become proficient in the language, so much so that she gained a small following from the poetry she would write. When she moved out of her parent's home to the city of Stellwynia, capital of Stellwyn, she took a job at a museum, where she was tasked with being the curator and guard of the Darkest Day exhibit, where the Sword of Zacian is on display. She currently works there, constantly making sure that she does her job to the best of her ability so that she can make enough to afford to send her poems to major publishers so that she can do something she thoroughly enjoys.
