| SUMMARY | A mysterious researcher and an adept mage. He comes off as serious and wise but actually has a mischievous streak and enjoys subverting expectations just to mess with people. He is passionate about magic and learning all there is to know about Vistus, and sometimes his focus narrows to the point he forgets about himself and others. Most people who meet him say he looks like he's 'hiding something'.
He can be very intimidating when he wants to be, and he has the power to back it up. He grew up in a magically-inclined village where he honed his talent and blossomed into a master Dark mage. He likes to joke that he's secretive and lurks in the shadows specifically to keep up appearances as a Dark magic user.
He currently lives in the suburbs of Blackstone with his assistant Kiyake, working as a researcher for the Peacekeepers. |  |
| PERSONALITY |  |
Fericeus isn't known by many people, and he likes that just fine. Those who do know him only think they do, and he's just as fine with that. He's a walking contradiction; serious and sophisticated, yet as mischievous as a fairy. He gets a kick out of the mysterious air he puts up. He'll deliver grave news as though discussing the weather, and he'll press non-issues for theatrics' sake. People tend to know him only by one of those two masks, and he's made sure they aren't tempted to peek behind them.
For what lies behind the Wise Young Researcher and the Magical Trickster is a wolf who has a rocky relationship with his morals, and a borderline self-sabotaging desire to find out what makes Vistus tick. When it comes to his pursuits, not much else matters, not even those around him. He's known to be obsessive, with hungry eyes constantly seeking something to hold his interest; and when they do, he will not look away, even at the risk of blindness.

| BIOGRAPHY | Fericeus grew up in Greenglade, a village in Havran. He studied alongside Lorelei Schreiber. The two of them were close, and Feri sympathised with Lorelei's difficult situation, but once he noticed how deep-seated her anger was against the village and everyone around her, he distanced himself. He didn't want anything to do with such a hateful person. He left for Tananshia when he was a teenager, eager to learn about the more technological side of Vistus while still keeping magic close to his heart.
Once he learned of the existence of the Peacekeepers organisation, he applied for the position of researcher and got accepted. He studies whatever the Peacekeepers assign him and is grateful for the opportunity to learn while getting paid.
A few years later he met Kiyake in Tananshia. She was alone and homeless, so he took her in. She and Fericeus live together, and she works as his assistant.
After hearing about the exploits of Laerya's group and their connection to Lorelei, Fericeus has now settled on devoting himself to researching everything he can in order to help put a permanent stop to his former friend.

The main story. Intrigued by her friend Fericeus's offer to study magic in the peaceful village of Greenglade, Laerya and her assigned companion Akorri set out to visit this magical haven. However things are never that simple with Laerya, and the two find themselves forming new friendships and testing old ones as they are caught up in events they never would have expected.

Four months after the events of Vistus, Laerya and her friends embark on another adventure, making new friends, exploring the far reaches of of their world, testing their bonds, and crossing swords with an old enemy.
