Personality

A charming and gleeful woman, Cassie is very supportive and can often be found ecstatically complimenting peoples' appearances, as she naturally sees and appreciates the beauty in everyone and making people feel good about themselves makes her happy too! In particular, Cassie loves fashion, going so far as to make outfits for herself and her friends just for fun. She firmly believes you can tell a lot about someone from the way they dress. 

Having been born with her rather blatant peculiarity of additional limbs, Cassie has grown up with very strong feelings about prejudice and passionately believes in treating everyone as fairly as possible. Seeing instances where this is not the case set her off on uncharacteristically infuriated rants, like about how she's expected to buy twICE AS MANY BRACELETS AS ANYONE ELSE, THAT'S BULLSHIT MAN, YOU THINK SHE'S MADE OF MONEY? She has very few buttons, but quite the temper over the ones she does...

Background

Unlike most who develop their peculiar ability around their pre-pubescent years, Cassie was born with her four arms. Having this early-start proved to be a bit of a disadvantage however, as she was bullied for it in school by her classmates who had yet to develop any abilities themselves. This made her miserable and she was often miserable, trying to hide her additional arms by restraining them uncomfortably inside coats and such. 

However, following a criminal incident at her middle school, a Peculiar Ops agent that was present had encouraged her never to be ashamed of things she can't control, advice which meant a lot to her. Unbeknown to her to this day, the agent in question was Benny of the Four Devas, though even he is unaware of this connection to her. 

In order to combat the insults, Cassie decided the best way to rock looking different to everyone else was just to straight up look BETTER than them, and turned to becoming a total fashionista. By the time high school rolled around, when most around her had developed their own peculiar abilities, the bullying ceased and Cassie found herself an unshakeable pride and sense of self-worth regardless.

Eventually she went on to join Peculiar Ops, in hopes of encouraging children of being proud of their peculiarity as she had been herself by Benny in her youth. On the side, Cassie sees great injustice in the fashion industry, which she believes doesn't do enough to accommodate physically peculiar people like herself, and often leads protests at the steps of fashion group buildings. She dated Mustang for some time, but to her confusion, despite her genuine love and care for him, she never felt fully comfortable in the relationship.

Synopsis

Cassie is one of the unfortunate agents who ends up getting roped into Saki's scheme to form a rival squad to Mustang and Dana's gang. Unlike the other participants, she is enthusiastic about the idea, which ironically makes it seem to Saki like she's not taking it seriously.

She continues to not have realised that she's gay.
