Lil' Panda

  The angry and short Hylotl. She small and ready to brawl and she will wreak you. She’s been on the crew the longest, and happens to be the Captain’s best friend. The true second in command.

  Panda was raised in a very strict household. Her parents kept very tight grip to old traditions. Being part of a village that had stood against Floran and won, there was a certain pride about them. 

  Everyone else in her house and village were… elegant. They are all very proper-like. But somehow, they are all very strong. When Panda would practice swordsmanship with her cousins, they could cut wooden beams in half, and she? She could barely lift the sword on her best days. Not to say she wasn’t good at the other Hylotl values. She was good enough at poetry and art. In a town that valued skill, she brought dishonor to her family. And was often shut away for this reason.

  “A daughter? Sadly, I don’t have a child.”

  Something she heard through her door far too many times. She grew angry. She would throw fits. Easily stoppable fits, due to her being smaller and weaker then everyone else.

  She shouted this during one of her family’s quiet parties. Screaming at them. She was told off, told to be quiet. Those who could not back their words with actions. She storms outside, only to be followed. A small hope had grown when they had followed. Only to have it crushed.

  She felt like throwing herself into the sea, but a strange boy came up to her. He talked oddly to her. Saying he needed someone like her to join his crew. So join she did.

  And she became close to Sar Tela. Trusting him with many emotions and thoughts she hadn’t been able to get out before. And she learned she was an angry person. 

  She gets a bit stronger physically, but not much. At first, she was disappointing, but Sar told her she was still a great punch. He knew this cause she had hurt him when he nicknamed her Lil.’

  As time goes on, she only get’s more irritable and she loves the freedom of that feeling. She likes bossing around the crew members. Particularly the Human girl named Wendy, who was picked up around the time Earth was destroyed.

  She developed a crush on Wendy, the tall girl noticed and returned the feelings.

  Lil’ Panda is a very scrappy fighter, and often has little to no respect for uppity people. She can be clever, but she’s surprisingly best at negotiation and talking things out. Her Hyotl up-bringing has made her good with her words.
