Basics
Jewel is a Changeling pony hybrid living in Ponyville, known for being a little bit of a thottie. Or being a lot of a thottie. He's dramatic, a bit aloof, always smiling his half lidded smile. He is confident, egotistical, but generally bad at most things except alluring to other ponies. Compared to the other pony adjacents in Ponyville, he is actually pathetically boring. While the others worry about losing themselves in the pursuit or avoidance of magic, Jewel is too busy scheduling dates to worry about anything like that. Though he appears unfazed by most things at best and exagerating exasperation at worst, he does have a deep seated unease about ponies and friendship. He doesn't want to reform, instead moving away from all other changelings, and refuses to try. He is afraid it won't work due to his hybrid blood.

Relationships
Spell Write [ roommates ]
Spell Write and Jewel bonded due to both being part changeling and clinging to the idea of being a pony. They find that they can relate to each other on a surface level, but really don't have a lot in common, and aren't too familiar with each other. Jewel cheerfully and blissfully ignores this, attempting to become closer to Spell Write, often trying to engage in conversations that Spell Write rarely returns, while Spell Write only really uses him for experiments. Often Spell Write will, while not telling him what is going to happen, hook him up to dangerous machines or conduct mysterious spells upon him to see the results, of which most are painful or cause near death experiences. Despite this causing a seed of distaste towards the other pony, Jewel tries to ignore it and give him the benefit of the doubt.
