Though Stagkit's familial bonds were all around strong, he couldn't help but focus on the potentials of abandonment... Especially as he became an apprentice. The relationship between Blossom and Onyx, and Onyx's subsequent friendship with his siblings. The bullying from Sandpaw. As kit turned to apprentice, Stag forged his own path under Ghostflower - until arriving under the tutelage of Swiftstar herself. He met her with a challenge - and this was all it took for his whole world to change. A swipe to his brow, his first scars, and his perception - and ego - rattled.

Enduring Swiftstar's ruthless training, he endeavored to earn her respect - and the respect of his clan-mates. More and more, he deferred from Ghostflower, instead focusing on Swift's combat drills. With Sandpaw no longer his competition, he became the standout combattant among his peers... But throughout these moons, his siblings faded to the back of his mind. The Crusade was at the forefront. Stagpaw was trained to kill - and kill he did.

But fate would not be so rewarding.

His sibling, Glacierpaw, would be ruthlessly murdered on a conquest patrol. Stagpaw's ascension to Stagface would be marked by grief. And despite his parents' comfort, it was in Swiftstar still that he relied upon. The loss of more family ties wouldn't quite weigh on him until worst came to worst... And before that, Stagface pursued the only thing he now knew - violence.

Territorial and brutal, Stagface would live up to the legacy of an unruly buck, with his clan's reputation on his shoulders. But his eyes finally seemed to open when Swiftstar called for his sister - Cobaltice's - execution... And following that, his mother's sacrificial death to protect her family. His worldview shattered once more, Stagface was lost in the ensuing war against Swiftstar... Wracked by grief, he could only flee and protect himself from invaders during the chaos. At least, until all was over - and Swiftstar perished.

At the end of it all, Stagface nearly lost his entire bloodline; his parents deceased and the rest of his family ties unduly strained. And all too soon, he would mentor the petulant Howlingpaw in an effort to remedy Swiftstar's training... Stagface could hardly handle this weight - and when she was sent to the League, he became a recluse.

Everything from ~30 moons to 85 moons. Most of Swirlstar's time is a major WIP; events that took place was his second apprenticeship with Oathclaw, Curlheart's exile, the flood (and Swirlstar's death), and Fissurestar becoming leader.

Participated in most if not all Haven trials within StoneClan and at ShallowClan, eventually seeking help from Kitejaw to fight this wave of aggression in fellow clan-mates. It was at this time that he started mentoring Beachpaw as well, who was an unfortunate witness to many of the trials and their outcomes. After Earthworm's exile and the violence of Stormgaze, Stagface eventually left StoneClan alongside Beachpaw, Onyxstone and Sparrowpaw... Opting for The Haven as a temporary safety net. But ultimately, Stag serves as a double agent for Kitejaw, and Rain - the Haven's former leader - in order to destroy the cult from inside.
