Backstory

Edit: “this backstory was created when I was like 9-10 and had no solid plot for the longest time. I had like, a billion plot holes to make sense of, so sorry if anything is confusing.” 

(The backstory is long+confusing still kind've a WIP) Neosis’s life began in a wild thrashing thunderstorm born from an unknown force alongside his younger sister Sayriani. The two opened their eyes to a new world frightened by the sound of Thunder and soaked by the rain. For days, the two wandered aimlessly through the baren lands which were both beautiful and unknown. They soon came across a large heard of Neonsis in which they were coldly welcomed as outcasts. A Neonsis by the name of Solo asked where they had come from in which they replied they came from what seemed to be nowhere born within a storm. Solo took the two under his wing and told them from that day forward they can look up to him as if he was their eldest brother. The three were inseparable and all became the outcasts of the heard but they didn’t mind because they had eachother. Sooner or later a young colt by the name of Cloud came wandering from the unknown claiming he didn’t know where he’d come from. The heard accepted him but he quickly became an outcast and the subject of bullying by the other colts. He seemed to be the same age as Neosis and the two got along very well and would often wander off and get into mischief together. Soon the three asked if Cloud would join them as their brother in which he happily accepted, he was so happy he nearly cried. The four were as if they were family, they always stuck up for eachother and became very close. They would often wander off and find new lands to explore staying close to the heard but staying far enough at a distance. Neosis, Cloud and Sayriani would often get bullied by the other colts one time resulting in Neosis getting pushed off a cliff down a waterfall where he learned to fly that day. 

One day, tragedy struck. It was a dark and gloomy evening and Solo had not returned to their home. The three got nervous about the disappearance of their eldest brother and went off looking for him. But what they found would be worse then they’d ever imagined. In a large open field, there Solo lie, beaten, and suffering. The three surrounded him, confused, angry, and distraught. When they reached him, he was already cold to the touch. As Cloud and Sayriani mourned his passing Thunder began to sound and Neosis began his decent to losing his mind. Neosis breathed heavy as his purple eyes began to flash into a light blue with red in the middle, he flared his frills and grinned his teeth. He turned and hissed at Cloud striking fear through the young blue colt He demanded for Cloud to protect his sister as lightning flashed a tree and lit it on fire. A full moon began to rise as Neosis raised his wings and descended into the night.

 It was then that the powerful Damestrick came into play. Damestrick was an immortal who was so evil and corrupt he was banished into a spirit form who could not interact with the real world. Damestrick could control other immortals who were the same species and vulnerable to his manipulation and Neosis was the perfect subject. Damestrick posessed Neosis and used all of his pent up rage on the nearby heard while the forest burned down. When Neosis was freed of being controlled he realized the damage he’d done and turned to see Damestrick behind him laughing. Neosis fell to his knees in shame and shock when he realized the depth of what he was and what had just happened. Damestrick explained how Neosis was an immortal and was now his puppet. Damestrick used Neosis to wreak havoc in the Barren Lands and Neosis was well known as a threat and a killer. Word soon reached Cloud and Sayriani and they couldn’t believe what they were hearing. Sooner or later, Neosis reached Cloud and Sariani’s peaceful home and burned it to the ground, Cloud pleaded with Neosis to stop but Neosis was already being controlled. By the time Neosis was freed of his control he was met with Cloud and Sayriani. Neosis began to break down and weep and the two were both terrified and confused, Neosis pleaded that it wasn’t his fault and that there was something controlling him. The two felt pity for Neosis but Cloud saw the damage that Neosis was capable of and drove him away out of genuine fear. 

A few nights later was a red moon. Neosis wasn’t aware of this, but during a red moon, an immortal is capable of killing another immortal. Neosis stood at the edge of a cliff, staring at the red moon when Damestrick approached. A surge of power rushed through him and his powers activated. During the blood moon, Damestrick had his physical body again, and could remain physical if he killed Neosis during the blood moon. Neosis and Damestrick had a faceoff and both charged, fighting in a heated battle for hours on end. Neosis’s true powers uncontrollably kicked in as furiously loud Thunder and lightning appeared in the sky and began surrounding Neosis. The lightning then struck Damestrick and Neosis took him down once and for all. A storm began brewing in the skies as Neosis turned away from Damestricks body only to see Cloud and Sariani frozen in a state of shock over what they had witnessed. Sariani’s innocent terrified eyes struck panic in Neosis as he began to weep in their presence, crying and pleading how the Neonsis he just defeated was an evil creature who was tormenting him. Cloud looked disgusted, he thought Neosis had killed an innocent creature and was furious upon hearing him. Sariani stair Into Neosis’s soul as a tear rolled down her cheek. Cloud told her to leave as he gazed at Neosis with pure displeasure and disgust. 

“Your not the only one who suffers.” Cloud scoffed as he Smacked Neosis on the jaw causing him to jerk back. “Did I act like a frantic lunatic when I lost Solo?” Cloud Growled “I stood strong for Sariani, I stood strong for Solo, and I stood strong for you. You are a pathetic little shimp who would made others suffer because you are suffering yourself. I refuse to call you friend, I refuse to call you family, and I most certainly refuse to call you brother. You ruined Sariani, she loved you, and you ruined her.” Cloud said his final words and hissed at Neosis with his frills and turned around to fly off. “I will be back to finish you off.” Cloud snorted as he dashed away.

 For days on end Neosis aimlessly wandered The Barren Lands wondering what purpose he had, he never felt more alone and empty in all of his life. He had nothing. He soon came down to a valley where he met face to face with Cloud once again. Cloud’s eyes turned a maroon purple as golden streaks began to glow around him, Neosis’s pupils changed shape showing he was near another Immortal. Cloud charged at Neosis, knocking him off his feet. Cloud demanded Neosis leave the Barren Lands. Neosis fell to his knees and begged his brother for forgiveness. Cloud scoffed and whispered to Neosis 

“If I ever see you in these lands again, I will kill you.” 

Present Day

After Neosis was banished from The Barren Lands, he came across a mysterious creature who approached him. The creature was rugged and twisted looking as it began to speak about how he wanted a trophy. Just then the creature thrust into Neosis’s chest and ripped out one of his hearts Neosis fainted before he could speak. By the time Neosis awoke the creature was long gone and his wound had healed, the heart was no longer there and Neosis felt weak even though he was immortal. It was then he realized the creature he faced was also an immortal, as a mortal wound would’ve regenerated the heart. Neosis realized days had passed and he knew if he wanted his heart and strength back, he should set off there and then. Neosis flew for days and nights over a large vast ocean until he came across land, and the entrance to the great city. It was a full moon that night, which meant if anyone harmed Neosis physically, his powers would automatically activate. Neosis strolled into a tavern and was shocked by the lights and environment as he only ever knew wilderness. Everyone grinned and scowled at Neosis, realizing his species was unknown to them. One Feller approached him to ask questions, upon realizing Neosis looked confused the Feller smacked Neosis demanding a response activating his powers. Neosis accidentally struck front counter at the bar and it began to light on fire with everyone rushing out. Within that crowd was Prueba Siete, Kia, And Rio Rio. Kia And Rio calmly left the building but Prueba was intrigued to know Neosis further. Prueba waited for him to leave the tavern and pulled him aside. They both talked to eachother and Prueba explained the current state of the world being under Demas control, Neosis, realizing Dema was behind stealing his heart vowed to take down Dema once and for all. Once hearing about the evil Dema was capable of, Neosis’s goal wasn’t to return his heart anymore, his new goal was to rid the world of Demas wickedness and make a new rule with a peaceful rein. Prueba and Neosis round up Kia and Rio Rio to join them and the four start their adventure on ending Demas rule. “War breaks loose bla bla bla, lot happens but no spoilers”

Later on, Prueba Siete manages to rip out Neosis's last heart in a fit of rage after an incident. In regret Prueba takes Neosis who had gone into a coma back to the Barren Lands to try and find him help. Prueba meets Cloud and Sayriani who help revive him on a red sunset. When Neosis awakes he is met face to face with Cloud in which he is terrified and sheds a tear. Cloud approaches Neosis and asked for forgiveness for how he treated him. Cloud explained how the sun told him and Sariani everything that had happened to Neosis and the two realized that Neosis was right the whole time. He was being controlled and the mistakes were not his fault. Cloud fell to Neosis and begged for his forgiveness and pleaded for him to return and stay with them in the Barren Lands like old days. Neosis tearfully forgave Cloud and the two had a heartfelt embrace. Neosis explained his current situation and how he was to rid the world of Demas evil rein. Cloud expressed how Neosis would always be the better, stronger, most pure hearted, and braves brother of the two and Neosis went on his way feeling better and filling the hole he had that had been empty for so long.

After his mission was complete and the war had come to an end, Neosis did return to the Barren Lands to rejoin Cloud and Sayriani who had just had their first colt together.
