Demigod! He has no idea which parent was a god since his adoptive family won't tell him anything about his parents. He's blood related to his adopted parents but something mysterious is up with his birth parents, nobody ever talks about them. He can't think of any gods with multiple eyes off the top of his head so he's stumped. Barely anyone these days believes in the gods, most think the gods worshipped in the past were just powerful witches. Just one look at him and his 3 eyes makes people do a double take and question everything. He's cool with 3 eyes though, his third one lets him see magic energy so that's nice.
His third eye can only see magic energy so if he has his others closed he can't see people or objects. Each person emits their own unique energy so he can usually tell who's who and who's new, the only exception to this are vampires. They're completely cut off from magic so they're invisible to his third eye. He can vaguely tell where they are because they're a void in his vision compared to everything else emitting some level of magic. Its always good to walk around with his other eyes open so he can actually see though.

Vampire Generations
Currently, there are 3 generations of vampires: Ancient, Old, and New generation. Ancient vampires have the most downsides, Old ones have quite a few, and New generations have the least. Generations depend on the time period someone was turned, once a new generation is formed the older generations can't increase. All generations have extreme strength and speed, along with greatly heightened senses and retractable fangs.
Ancient: These vampires were seen as absolute monsters. Along with a hunger for blood, they were created in a time of chaos that fed into their anger. They have a strong bloodlust they can't control where they lose their sense of self and run off to kill for fun. Many embrace this as part of their lives now while others fight it as much as they can. But along with this comes more rage and irritability. Its very easy to make one of them angry and they're most likely to remove someone's head than walk away, even over small things. Along with all of this, if a witch is turned into an Ancient they lose all ability to practice magic, which seems like a fate worse than death for some. They also have other downsides: silver burns and silver-backed mirrors refuse to show a reflection, garlic is evil, sunlight burns and if they're caught outside they catch on fire and die. Horrible things happen if an Ancient walks into a house uninvited. Bad things involving a lot of pain. Currently only 2 Ancients remain but supernatural history says Sebastian is the only one left.
Old: These vampires skipped out on the chaotic bloodlust and uncontrollable rage fits. Very lucky. Unfortunately, silver still burns them and silver-backed mirrors refuse to show a reflection. Garlic isn't evil but its not pleasant either. Old generation vampires CAN walk out in the sun without catching on fire but they get sunburned faster than the average person. Once sunblock is created they swarm to become the best consumer market. Turned witches still can't practice magic in this generation.
New: These vampires are livin the best undead life. There's also the first witch-vampire hybrid who can practice magic just as well as he could in life. They have no weaknesses other than the need for blood to survive. The downside is if they go too long without blood they'll feel an uncontrollable hunger and drain whoever is near them, even if that person is someone they care for greatly. They can't choose to die by not consuming blood because when they go into that hunger they lose consciousness and become more animalistic until they've had enough. They're the only generation that goes through this.
