Portrayed as a hero among legends and folklore stories, Feng Gong is a stalwart warrior that devotedly protects his beloved temple and its inhabitants, and wanders the land to extinguish evil whenever stumbling upon it. He has no interest in competition or dominating those weaker than him and only decides what appears fair at the moment.

As remarkables as what the books claim him to be, he claims that he does not live forever. Feng Gong's body and mind undergoes a cycle between death and rebirth. Though his body expires, it will only be temporary before he is reincarnated. May his body recover to its original state, he is able to keep everything except for his memories.

About

No matter how many times Feng Gong goes through a cycle of death and rebirth, his personality still remains the same. Perhaps from the expectations of the stories written of him, does remind him that he should remain heroic and courageous in front of others. Thus he keeps a similar character, but still continues to be benevolent and kind among those who treat him well.

However, he often finds himself conflicted upon those that he's met in his previous lifetimes. Realizing that his own existence has possibly hurt those that he was once close to, but he fails to remember no matter how hard he tries. Hence he often refrains from staying among others for a prolonged moment, and often sees this as a reason to be a lone wanderer.

Two Brothers

Before the rise of the Wind Temple, the Mountains were inhabited by a small village that lived peacefully until the beasts from the mountains began to ravage their homes for centuries. Until one moment, the Older Brother Feng Gong had it, tired of being enraged and saddened by the loss of the villagers that lived with them. He crafted a spear and charged in headfirst into the source of the beasts valiantly, where he spent years fighting off their enemies. His younger brother, Feng Li, wishing for his beloved sibling to come home, had a gift of being able to speak to the winds. spoke to the skies to wish to aid his older brother.

In return, he sacrificed his human form and his spirit joined with the wind. With the help of the wind around him, Feng Gong had the strength to eradicate all the monsters that threatened their village. Though Feng Li no longer had a form to be with his older brother, his spirit still inhabited the winds throughout all the lands. Thus the legend started: Wherever there is wind, Feng Gong is there, to be with his little brother.

Background

The Wandering God is reawakened once again, in the temple where the priests and the inhabitants continue to care for him and his fresh form. They remind him of his purpose and doesn't question their intent. He steps outside of the temple, where he is happily greeted by a quick breeze of wind - his little brother speaking to him in airs and whistles. And somehow the God understood exactly what the wind said. He looks up to smile towards the sky, reassuring his little brother that he is fine.

Trivia

  • Feng Gong uses a spear and it's always reborn with him along with his armor. Even if he loses it, the wind will always recover it and the spear will fly by to Feng Gong, no matter where it'll be. (Weapon Design WIP) There is only one occasion where the spear has failed to return to him [See Links]
  • Feng Gong is the elder brother, who is able to keep his physical form. However, he cannot keep his memories. However, Feng Gong has a little brother named Feng Li who retains absolutely no physical form. His existence appears as the winds throughout the world. Fortunately, Feng Li actually is capable of retaining memories but has no way of communicating them except for the High Priests from the temple and Feng Gong himself.
  • He often speaks as if he is talking to himself, even if there are others around him. However, if one feels wind breezing by them, it's likely that his younger brother, Feng Li, is speaking to him.
  • The Temple of the Wind, where he and his brother originated from, is hidden from the rest of the region. Though they appear small, they are prosperous and powerful, and capable of fending themselves even without Feng Gong guarding it. All of their "fighters" are priests that pray to both gods, and Feng Li bestows them with the power of using winds as a form of fighting. Everyone considers the Wind Temple to be kind and peaceful, and rarely do they find anything wrong with the inhabitants. Rarely do they take sides. All of the Eastern Lands understood that things are problematic if the Wind Priests are involved.
  • If Feng Gong is incapacitated or unable to fight, and it deems necessary, Feng Li will protect his older brother by calling for the monsterous Phoenix that will emerge from the skies, or manipulating winds into hurricanes or tornadoes.
  • No matter how many times you serve him other meals, Gong prefers eating plain rice... and rice only.

Feng Li [ Young Brother ]

Feng Li is Feng Gong's beloved little brother. Even with no no physical form, Feng Li is a god who makes his presence known by controlling winds throughout the world. He's quite protective of Feng Gong, especially if he appears endangered and it's too early for him to die. Li has quite the playful personality, if there was anyone (that isn't Gong, or the High Priests) that got to know him.

En Luxian [ Friend ]

Feng Gong respects Lady En. And somewhat pities her, especially when she became the Kingdom's Commander at such a young age, due to her father's origin. En Luxian is absolutely fascinated by Feng Gong and his deeds during his previous lifetimes and asks him endlessly to teach her how to fight like him. Though awkward to be reminded of actions that he absolutely has no recollection of, he will occasionally give her advice everytime he stumbles upon her.

Elabelle [ ??? ]

The current Feng Gong, no matter how hard he tried, could not remember her. Only reminded by his little brother, of how he once fell in love... deeply in love with a Princess of a foreign land. So much that he left her his precious spear, and Feng Li never retrieved it out of respect. When his current form saw the spear in her hands, he was absolutely shocked and immediately persued her. But she could not reciprocate and immediately ran away from him, and Feng Li has to suppress his brother from chasing her further.

Kigen [ ??? ]

Clearly it's inevitable that a gods will meet one another. Feng Gong has met Kigen on several occasions, many of them are being in the midst of danger. And despite the amounht of times where he has to either clean up the mess that Kigen has "accidentally made" or clashed with him directly, the both of them are on neutral standpoints to where the both can't keep up with being rivals. So if they see eachother once again, they will simply let out a sigh.
