Cathal's most beloved princess, but not what foreigners expect her to be.

Elabelle is an upbeat, independent and dedicated princess. She doesn't wish to be protected by the Kingdom's guard or get help from her father, the King. The Princess wishes to heed the wishes of her people, and protect them from threats outside her Kingdom's walls. Although tomboyish, it's not just her own charismatic nature that makes her powerful - it's the people that are loyal to her all the way to the end.

As a Princess, she has the freedom to do as she pleases... almost. Most of the time she fights with her father just to make sure she gets her way. Or at least, they reach to a resolution and puts her at a limit. However, watching her father, who she also looks up to, she is worried being a Queen and ruling the Kingdom solely on her decisions... will affect the freedom she once had.

Strengths

Being born a Princess clearly gives her an advantage in a social standpoint. As much as she hates it, she will have plenty of yes-men around her, just to gain her favor. However, being a Princess gives her access to an infinite amount of resources both inside and outside the Kingdom.

Being the Princess of Cathal isn't just because she was born from a King. The Golden Eyes meant she was part of the Royal Bloodline of Cathal. Powerful magic and resilience runs in their veins.

Her charismatic nature attracts plenty of people to her. Her circle, especially, and quite powerful and loyal to her and her alone. So if she's in danger, clearly she has friends who are willing to sacrifice themselves to make sure she's safe. That is, if she'll allow it.

In Cathal, society believes that a woman should be prim, and proper. But not Elabelle. She can be aggressive if needed to be, and she can fight like a beast. She prefers the company of the military over the court ladies in the can

Flaws

Being a Princess clearly has its perks. However, depending on how her father feels, there would be eyes everywhere on her no matter where she goes. You can't blame him though, she is the only child that Victus has and her death would be the end of the Royal Bloodline.

Sometimes there are people that will take advantage of her, solely for her role, just to get what they want. Since her childhood years, she becomes too aware of those that try to get close to her. She's kind, but she is not tolerant to those when she finds out that she's being taken advantage of.

Skills & Abilities

GOLDEN EYES: THE ROYAL BLOODLINE
Elabelle is the only child of King Victus Vadim. It is clear that she was born with eyes so beautiful and golden. But like the King, she was taught that the golden eyes has its importance, but she wasn't truly aware what it meant until she was older.
Elabelle is not a regular magic user, but potent magic still runs in her blood. Any magic she can perform is much stronger than the regular, experienced mage, and she can survive most powerful spells that a regular person could die from. According to the records of the past, her ancestors were as powerful as gods solely because of this royal blood running through their veins.

Spear of the Wind (Blessings of Feng Gong and Feng Li)
Elabelle wields a spear that can only be used by her. She has a history regarding the spear, like where she acquired it, but she never speaks of it to anyone, as memories has hurt her during the events. The Spear has the capability of manipulating the winds, though she could not control it herself.
Aside from being an avid spear user, she also throws it like a javelin, and the winds will immediately bring it back to her hand as she pleases. Her slender frame, and excellent balance also allows her to use ride on it into the skies.

Companion: The SPellsinger
After the events of Feng Gong, she meets another god-like presence. Aether had recently descended from the Celestial realm out of his pure curiosity and she was there to witness his descent. Elabelle immediately ventured to see him, a kind man with a beautiful figure, and immediately they became friends. If not close, Elabelles views Aether as someone irreplaceable and his loyalty is cannot be compared. Aether's ability as a powerful spellsinger gives her an advantage at war.

Trivia

  • Many Cathal residence considers her to be the symbol of Cathal's future. She is the newest generation alongside Siegfried, Saurin and Bernard.

  • Sometimes for fun, she likes to dress up as a man whenever she is invited to a ball, making people believe that Cathal has a Prince rather than a Princess.
    > Always complains about how tight and heavy the dresses are. She seems it unnecessary and would take any opportunity to rip it off.
  • Her two closest friends, Saurin and Siegfried serve as Elabelle's protectors if they are free from their roles for the day - or when they're fighting.
  • Loves her dad dearly, even though they don't respectfully treat each other at best sometimes. Her father will call her "brat" or "boy" while Elabelle sarcastically acknowledges him as her "King" or "Master" or even a "big scary bear"
  • A sucker for flowers. The gold and white roses, especially. One of the memories she cherished with her mother was when she spoke about how the roses seemed to fit her quite well to her eyes.

Summary

Princess Celestine was a maiden raised since birth to be a proper Princess up until the early death of her mother at an early age, leaving the King and his vassals to care for her. She insisted that she wanted to break traditions and willfully claim herself as an independent royal member of the family by becoming the first Princess to fight as a warrior. Instilled with strict training from her father and militaristic advisors, she secretly desires to live as a normal woman of her class the more she grew older. However, wanting to protect her home and family, however, she fights with daring, masculine pride. At her teenage years, there has been a running gag that her tomboyish attitude is barbaric and closer to a bear or some form of wild beast. Her experiences in war somewhat matures her flippant tendencies over time, as she eventually values the responsibility of protecting something important to her.
Elabelle is frank and tries her best to take part of the more modernish, civilian woman at her time, Although she is more aggressive with her words than her counterpart as a Princess. She constantly worries about looking cool to others and respects people who immediately fit her ideal feminine image of herself. Yet, not many girls favored Elabelle and never took her as their own. Boys were almost always the Princess's choice of friends.

King Victor Vadim doesn't address his daughter as a woman, unceremoniously calling her "boy" or "brat". While annoyed by his nicknames, she respects her father and his wishes to protect the Kingdom and the common man. Sometimes there are days where she would address her own father as "my lord" or "my king."
Yet King Vadim has nothing against her daughter whenever she breaks tradition but instead he supports is very daughter til the very end - this leaves some resentment among the nobles who cling onto old tradition - but it was a problem Elabelle has never dealt with in her adult years. There were even times where the royal members of the castle aren't fond of Celestine's boyish character, but the only thing that mattered was that her father supported her throughout her childhood and allowed her to take part of the royal army.

She worked hard in her years of training to become a warrior, but she remains to be quite knowledgeable in Cathal's history and militaristic tactics. She juggles that along with her years learning spells in the College of Magic due to her royal bloodline, therefore gaining magical any magical prowess. Even after graduating, she still tries her best to continue to pursuit of strength while taking part as Cathal's eventual ruler.

Cathal: the Golden Era

She was blessed that Cathal was in their "golden era" where peace remained for years and only little conflicts both internal and foreign affairs occurred. This gave Elabelle the blessing more freedom than most of the royal family members in the past.

When she just reached womanhood, she ventured away from the Kingdom to please her desire for adventure. Unfortunately, both Saurin, Siegfried, and Bernard were all too busy with their own affairs to tag along with her - and her father had forced her to bring just a handful of troops out to the adventure. Only a few days after, everybody except for her had succumb to a spell from a band of corrupt mages who tried to attack them. With everyone eliminated, she was barely fending for herself until a God and a Warrior came to her aid. Realizing that the two of them were capable of fending off whole armies themselves, she realized she didn't need to withdraw back to the Kingdom... yet.

Her adventures led to a brilliant, eye-opening experience of several cities, kingdoms, and civilizations. In the middle of it, her two companions were getting at each other's throats, hoping one of them would claim her hand in marriage(?). Poor Elabelle was conflicted through the whole time, but she prioritized her adventures over Feng Gong and Cervantes, who were constantly fighting behind her back.

But there came a point where she had to choose between the two. Finding out that Cervantes only wanted her for her bloodline, she felt but a temporary moment of disgust before she fell for Feng Gong. Feng Gong, who happily reciprocated her feelings, made her so happy. But the love she had was only just a moment, when he suddenly disappeared and left the spear with her. Heartbroken, she returned to Cathal (with Cervantes) to bring alongside her three other friends to find the search for the man she once loved.
After a whole year of searching, she finally found him. But when she was anticipating happiness, she realized that the Feng Gong she once knew was gone. Not knowing about Feng Gong's cycle of rebirth, she never knew that the God was at the end of his cycle and his memories were wiped out after the moments they had together.

Elabelle came home defeated, but she came home with another beloved friend. She met Aether, who had descended from the Celestial realm to see how humans lived. And soon after, in an annual ball that her father forced her into, she had met Roy. As charming as Roy was, she wasn't interested in him at first and viewed him more as a friend than a lover. Perhaps it was because she had barely gotten over the events with Feng Gong.

But progressively her love flourished the longer she spent time with Roy. Elabelle has met plenty of charismatic suitors. Yet, for some reason Roy's bright and unique character made his absolutely unforgettable. When Roy went back to his country, she realized how much she missed him, and demanded that the Prince would come back. She married him soon after, bearing two, blessed children.

The great Litarian adventure

When Roy disappeared, to her guess, perhaps it was best that he remains hiding after he destroyed Ark. It was her and her kingdom to raise her boys in proper leaders. However, when her youngest was exiled by the Sirens, she began to feel a great concern over the future. Her duty as a Queen, she attempted to reach out to help En get his voice...

until the death of Allegretto, she was stuck. The Kingdom had immediately forgotten the case of young En, their cries aimed towards the Allegretto's assassination. She needed to focus on her eldest's death, but never did she forget her beloved En at all.

She entrusted the safety of her boy to one of her most trustworthy friend - someone who's presence wouldn't affect the silly little politics that she had to play with.

Cervantes, the Conqueror, she called for. And he immediately answered her plea.

Relationships

Roy

[ Husband ]

At first, she thought Roy was just another one of those show off-y Princes that her father is desperately trying to get her to marry. But she was proven wrong. Elabelle saw him differently and was charmed by his actions, especially when she had recently gotten over a "break-up" she had awhile ago. Roy may have been looking for a wife, since he was a King, but he acted much differently than the other Princes she had met. There was a different kind of charm, both bright and unique. Not to mention, the hot pockets he brought with them? Absolutely delicious for a simple snack.

King Vadim

[ Father ]

Elabelle was too young before her mother passed away. And when Vadim had the choice to marry another Queen to bear another child, King Vadim refused to. And he even demanded that he would raise Elabelle solely on his own... with the help of those who lived in the castle as well. Even if he was a grump of a man who has too many knots in his pants, she still looks up to her father with admiration because of the adamant choices he made and the effort he put into making her a proper rule. Of course, the two of them would butt heads, but that was just going to be normal as father and daughter.

Aether

[ Companion ]

Elabelle was the first human that Aether had met. And the both were immediately drawn to each other. A master spell singer was rare in the world, which made sense since Aether was a Celestial, born from the God of Rhythm and Harmony. As her companion that followed her everywhere, Aether was not only loyal to her, but he was a friend that Elabelle could not replace. And remained so, even if she grew old or died from age; Aether remains a family friend to the generations after her.

Cervantes

[ Friend ]

Cervantes came to her aid when he felt a familiar aura miles away from where she stood. As he gotten closer, she was in the midst of a battle, fighting for her life. He could have watched her suffer, but her golden eyes made him immediately drawn to her and he felt the overwhelming need to save her. Yet, when he came to the rescue, another Warrior also joined forces with the two of them - now making it difficult for Cervantes to get the proper recognition needed. After the battle, Cervantes's was now immediately attracted to not only her eyes but her character and joined her little adventure among foreign lands.

Feng Gong

[ ??? ]

The relationship between the two of them NOW... are complicated. But before then, Elabelle was once in love with him. However, she never knew about Feng Gong's cycle of "Rebirth." Where the God would expire after a prolonged amount of time, and then resurrect in the same exact form... but without the memories of the previous lifetime. After a whole year of trying to search for him since his disappearance (and just a day after he reciprocated his feelings to her), Feng Gong has no recollection of their beloved moments together... but leaves the spear with her.
