{ Appearance }
Izo has bright green eyes, and ash blonde hair with white dye on his bangs. The eyepatch is worn to hide his injured eye - the injury was attained by Kei's venus fly trap when Izo was only 3 years old. Accidentally provoking it, it jabbed him in the eye, leaving him blind in his left eye with a nasty scar.

{ Background Information }
Izo is a kindhearted boy currently living in a small shack with his uncle, Kei. He's not very socialable so finds it hard to make friends, especially living in the countryside with his pet, Mao. Mao is kept hidden from others as it may be dangerous if others were to find out. As a result of this, Izo spends most of his time in the greenhouse tending to plants.

{ Relationships }
Mao: Rarely separated from Mao, the two tend to plants together in the greenhouse during their spare time.
Kei: Adopted by his irresponsible uncle, they share almost nothing in common. Izo loves playing with Kei's arm, insisting it should be named, rather than calling it, "it". Kei tends to leave the house for the city often, causing trouble for his own amusement. Izo knows there's nothing he can't handle so he doesn't worry too much.
Kasumi (Kei's girlfriend): Izo very much appreciates Kasumi's company. She goes to visit him whenever she can, sometimes leaving Kei alone when she's fed up with obsession with causing destruction. Watering the plants in the greenhouse is her specialty.
Xie: They send letters to one another, communicating through the traveler bird. Because Izo writes maturely, Xie had no idea he was just a child. When they first met, Izo's child-like personality showed when he called her "the no-pants-lady".
