I love this guy's design. He definitely has that young and hip artistic type feel to him which is ironic since he's 50. You say he's unconventional and I can definitely see that just in his design, especially the first one. He seems like one of those "larger than life" types. If only actual reality TV producers had this good a rap, amirite? I think it's cool that everything in his bio adds to the theme of his persona even if it doesn't have to do directly with this job. It really adds to the feel of the character you're trying to create. Also thank you for not forcing in some contrived flaw. Sometimes you just need a character to be the best at what they do and that's it.
Thank you so much! I'm really glad to hear that you like him and think that he's consistent. Rich or famous characters aren't typical for me, so he's a lot of fun to work with, but a bit different to write!
He does have flaws, but it's good to hear that they don't sound contrived! I prefer characters to be more subtle than just having one big fatal flaw.
