About
Valencia was made sometime in 2014-2015 as a shipping meme with Sidlaux's character Wrey Sagrei. They were made to be together, and I think that influenced a bit of the design and colour scheme, esp in the beginning.
She is sweet and kind and cute, which are very general, sweeping descriptions, but what I had in mind when I made her. Their story doesn't have much drama or angst, just a sweet, innocent kind of romance, which I still think makes for a very good story.
Valencia was born of a dwarven councilwoman and a fleet angel. Angels do not reproduce by regualar means, however, and the fact that a child was birthed from their relationship was a testament to how strong and pure it was. The angel had duties in the Aether, and couldn't raise a child, couldn't risk putting her in danger while so high up in the air. So the dwarven councilwoman took her in, loved her, let her grow up in peace.
Being half-angel half-mortal was an interesting experience. Valencia had small, useless feathered wings on her back, too tiny to fly but present nonetheless. She could move them /// im busy i'll finish this later LMAO
