Younger sister. Deeply loved and distantly looked after.
Eldest brother; but during her childhood, a father-figure as well. Immensely treasured and cherished; grateful to beyond words. He gave her a home outside of the forest, something she had deeply longed for, and although the adjustment to a human life has proved challenging and even maddening at times, June could not be more appreciative and relieved to have a place to call her own and a world to explore that has proven to be far more endless than the forest. The freedom and independence Morioch has allowed her in Milan is as thrilling as it is daunting, but she does her best not to flood his treasured visits with questions. Her unfaltering love and loyalty has always been his.
Sister. Loved; whatever grievances that once existed between them have been forgotten.
Brother. Longing. Family tension and fighting separated the two. Doesn't know how well she'd be recieved now, but secretly wishes they could have bonded more when she was younger. Gave him a piece of her pelt when she was younger as a way to have a connection.
Once thought of her as a mother figure, now considers her to be something else entirely. Familial. Unconditionally loved and revered beyond measure. Believed himself to be at fault for her death many years ago and was devastated to lose her. Sought redemption for his failures when she was returned to life as a child. Thought to keep her in his shadow where he could ensure her safety, but ultimately found error in that thinking. Opted instead to give her the space he felt she required to become herself once again. Even so, he would readily sacrifice everything for her if ever she required it.
Her end and her beginning; the last face she saw before death, and the first she beheld on her second waking. Her eldest son, her dearest brother; a bittersweet but unshakable sense of love and connection, precious and cherished. Finds it easy to be with Morioch and enjoys his presence - a balm for her oft-broken heart. One of incredibly few who is trusted explicitly, and the only on par with Endriaga.
Considered a brother. Loved and cared for. Typically keeps out of Rossamund's whirlwind of a life, but always welcomes and appreciates his company when he comes around.
Considered his brother. A consistent presence throughout his life in the Forest, and a very tumultuous, complicated relationship for a long time. Now that the dust has settled, is very glad to be able to be on good terms with him. Loved.
A brother in a prior life. Known of and distantly watched over, but holds no sense of familial connection to him.
Unaware of their connection.
Once his most trusted vassal, the soldier has since been released from his duties. Watches over from a distance and ensures that the quiet life he has always longed for is not disturbed.
A suzerain of the past. Eternally indebted to for the purpose he provided for so long. Thought of often and would likely aid should his services ever be required.
Client. Restores Kissare's life in the event of his untimely death.
Resurrector.
Creation. Thought of as something akin to a daughter. Freed of his influence in the hopes of allowing her a life outside his strings.
[ β‘ β‘ β‘ β‘ β‘ ] River's maker and very much a fatherly figure in her heart, sometimes even referring to him as such to her closestβa sentiment of which shall likely always remain unspoken between them. Loved dearly and regards his counsel with utmost respect and gratitude. No longer tethered to her primary creator, discharged by him to flourish alone without limit. Sorely misses the Mnemonist and regularly thinks of him, often frequenting his haunt in the Forest.
Former client. A disappointment, but one that comes as no surprise. Considered weak and regarded with nonchalant apathy.
Former benefactor, and to whom his soul was once bound. Broke his contract with the Mnemonist in bad faith and knows their agreement is null. In some ways, blames his ill turn of luck in the last couple of years upon Morioch for having given an ultimatum so against his nature that it would inevitably fail. Feels like the Artificer's forgotten plaything.
