Veska Valeem is a former Treasure Hunter turned self-appointed Rival Hunter. Born into a northern nomadic clan, Veska's ambition and ability had her seeking a more modern way of life, away from the traditional, demure roles expected of her.
Trained by Ging Freecss and being abruptly abandoned by him after years of traveling together, Veska is now pursuing him. Ging's intentions for leaving Veska behind are a mystery, but she is anything but passive and has stubbornness in spades, even changing her Hunter type to "Rival Hunter" to show her tenacity in reuniting with Ging. What she'll do to him once she finds him is anyone's guess, but given her temperament...

Powers
Inanimate Memory — Veska's Nen allows her to see the memories of inanimate objects- who has handled them, where they have traveled, and so on. She can reach back a week into an object's memory if she concentrates long enough.
Conditions — Veska must be holding or touching the item in order to view it's memories. She also has to maintain contact with the object to reach back a week into it's memories, which requires heavy concentration from her.
Enhanced Combatant — Trained by Ging and having sparred with Kite, Veska is top notch in melee combat. The entire reason she found Ging in the first place was to learn offensive maneuvers and it has more than paid off!

- Accents her clothes with furs and fishnets.
- Her red facial lines are ceremonial makeup.
- Strips of cloth cover her chest, not a shirt.
- Veska doesn't have a clothing preference, it just needs to be functional.
- Her hair is spiky and she usually wears it up to keep it out of the way, but during the night she wears it loose.
- Veska refuses to wear pants, insisting she likes the feeling of the breeze against her powerful thighs- but don't you dare look at them!!
