He's...very stubborn, and just gets really angry easily. He's kinda sensitive about almost anything personal about him, and so he ends up getting upset at people easily. He's also...kind of an idiot. It's mostly because he was uneducated, but he's also had some developmental issues growing up, so he has a difficult time learning new things. Sometimes he does seem like he wants to be better than he is, but he doesn't know how. And despite him seeming grumpy and angry all the time, he does genuinely try his best to be kind to those people he does care about, in his...own little way. Even though sometimes he may end up upsetting others in doing so.

Backstory

When Claw was a young child, he lived in an orphanage. He had been there his entire life, not knowing who his parents were, and unable to get any contact information to try and find out who they are. Unfortunately the place wasn't...the best condition for him, as he often fell behind the other kids and was made fun of by the teachers and carers in the orphanage for being the one behind, encouraging the other kids to leave him behind as well.

Then one day when he was nine, he fled the orphanage, in the middle of the night where no one would notice him. He quickly made his way to the nearby city of Chicago, where he took to living on the streets, where he ended up thriving better than within the orphanage. He would rely on his surprisingly good wits and intuition to get him by, even if it was a difficult life. He decided that's where he would be, even going into his adult life.

That is until one day he had been approached by a strange fortune teller named Kaori, requesting his help. She needed help in quelling Shizu, a woman who puts herself and others at risk on her own quest for power. And in deciding he had nothing better to do, Claw joined along. Making some...friends? At the very least some aquaintances, and maybe he'll learn how to better himself, and one day get out of the low spot of life.
