Personality

Shy and quiet, she doesn't really know how to speak out for herself. She gets nervous just trying to talk to people, so she sometimes stays silent, which some mistake her for being mute. She likes having her alone time and hopes no one gets offended when she needs to be just in her room for a bit. Despite this, she loves having close friends to be with, as long as they don't make her come out of her shell too much. She likes to help people out and is very book smart and is sensitive to others problems, and will listen and can give advice without sounding demanding or overbearing. The problem is getting to know her enough to be willing to open up about that stuff, as she can easily convince herself that a person doesn't like her, and it's something about her that caused it.

Backstory

Echo has always been really shy growing up. She never really wanted to play with other kids, and would much rather play things on her own. Her mother eventually started making her go and do things. She had her interact with other kids, had her play with them. She did small things to help Echo try and get over her shyness, like making her order her own food at a restaurant, or have her introduce herself to new kids in school or to teachers. And it worked for a while. But when Echo was ten, her mother passed away. After that, her father never really made Echo do the things her mother was doing to try and get over her shyness. She kind of became a hermit, and wanted to be alone more than with other people. And her shyness starts to get the best of her more often than not.
